Dr. Levine is an absolutely top flight periodontist. No one is more expert. His staff are wonderful, too — Rachel, Yesenia, Nancy, Robin and Sheri are professional, helpful and charming. They make the experience seamless.
All of this expertise comes at a price, of course. This is a Park Avenue practice, so expect to pay for the stellar level of care. I’ve had 2 gum surgeries here and never felt pain in my mouth, only in my hip (where I keep my wallet). That said, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had a terrific experience with Implants DC. Dr. Israel Puterman is the consummate professional. Bone and gum grafting couldn't have gone better. I had a terrific experience with this practice just yesterday - a gum grafting that I was really dreading but turned out to literally be pain-free as well as almost PLEASANT! The office is beautiful, the staff incredibly kind and helpful - especially Alexis, Eve and Maci - and the procedure was fast and orderly - almost peaceful! This is NOT a favorable review. After numerous implants placed by an implant specialist, and after extensive reconstruction, I was referred to Dr Puterman for regular hygiene care. For several years I was seen every 3 months by the hygienist, then once just before the quarantine and twice immediately after the quarantine. I requested Dr Putterman see me each of those times. He did not see me. At my last appointment, I pointed out a sore spot in the roof of my mouth, (both Dr Puterman and the hygienist denied seeing it – I have a photo taken less than a week after hygiene appointment) I returned

I was referred to Dr. Putterman by my dentist. I had needed an implant for a while but always hesitated because of the surgery. I also needed an existing implant removed and a bone graft. The staff was great in making everything as relaxing as possible and helpful throughout the process. The surgery went great and was way better than I expected (little discomfort and surgery itself was painless ). Dr. Putterman even personally called me the night of my surgery to make sure I was ok (who does that anymore). All the follow up visits went great and I was kept at ease. This office has the nicest staff! From the time you walk into the office, you are welcomed and asked if they can provide you with a beverage, they are very attentive. Dr. Puterman was a pleasure to meet, he has the best “bedside” manner of any doctor I’ve ever met! My experience with Dr. Puterman and his staff was quite an enjoyable one, from the moment I walked in the door. Despite having what seemed to be a nerve-racking procedure, the team eased the intensity by providing casual conversation, and even making me laugh a couple times. But not only was their bedside manner awesome, Dr. Putterman's dental practice was effective and efficient. He and his staff get the job done, and get it done well. Followup: I selected another Periodontist to do my implants. In order to save the additional expense and exposure to x-rays, I asked the office to call Dr. Puterman and get the x-rays which I had previously paid for. Dr. Puterman's office said they never took x-rays. After another call they acknowledged that they had taken x-rays and they would provide a cd for an additional $25. I refused as I had already paid over $300 initially and wasn't going to pay any more. Very unhappy with this entire experience with Dr. Puterman.

I visited Dr. Puterman for a gum grafting consult (to be followed by gum graft). I'll start by saying I've never met such a warm, amiable staff at a doctor's office (Yes, all of them!). It certainly relieved, any stress or concerns I may had about the procedure. The office is meticulous, tidy, modern, bright and cutting edge.

Dr. Puterman has been my periodontist for probably ten years and has performed multiple surgeries as well as more than a few implants for me. He is a superb periodontist (and, unfortunately, I have seen four or more over the last 30+ years). The results have always been excellent, his personality and demeanor are warm and professional, his staff is first rate and he is fastidious in staying on time for appointments. Rating him at five stars undervalues my recommendation...although it would be a nice thing if I could see him just a little less often.

Dr. Putermam is an incredible oral surgeon. I was involved in a freak accident that chipped my two front teeth (one which need to be completely removed and replaced). In both the consultation and procedure Dr. Puterman was clear on the steps that needed to be taken and what options he thought were the best for me. I really appreciated his professionalism and overall demeanor. Couldn't be happier with the choice I made to elect Dr, Puterman as my oral surgeon. Procedure was fantastic and my teeth look great.

The review is long-overdue! I highly recommend Dr. Puterman. First of all, his office staff are outstanding--thoughtful, accommodating, and kind. They take the time to meet with you to make sure that you fully understand the procedures and any costs involved. Also, I had to cancel two follow-up appointments due to snowy and icy road conditions and they worked with me to accommodate my crazy schedule and work hours.

I was a bit nervous about getting a gum graft because I had heard it could be quite painful, but my surgery was super easy and almost painless! Dr Puterman was incredibly comforting before,during and after the surgery. He kept me in the loop and explained everything I wanted to know. I would certainly recommend him for anyone!

I found Dr. Puterman for a second opinion after not being happy with my original periodontist visit. My case was a little unusual (some severe periodontal pockets and need for wisdom teeth removal as an adult) and I searched through periodontists in the area. After interacting with several, Dr. Puterman's treatment philosophy, personality, and knowledge stood above the rest.
