I visit Robert Lucas Salon about every 5 weeks for color, cut, and style. I love coming here. Robert is the BEST. He knows his craft and I always get compliments on my hair color and cut!! He is professional yet personable, and his assistant Violet is as professional and personable as he is! If you want the best hair color and cut you won't be disappointed here!

Awesome! I have been going to Robert for highlights for many years. I am very picky about my hair color and I trust Robert completely. He is meticulous with his application of color and consequently my highlights look great for a very long time, without a need for touch-ups.
I like that Robert is a perfectionist and that he spends a lot of time with his clients to ensure outstanding results. My higlights look very natural and I get compliments on my hair all the time.

I just visited Robert Lucas for the first time recently and felt compelled to share my experience, because it was so positive. First, as a new client, Robert himself made a point to reach back out to me to understand my current hair concerns and my vision for what I was seeking. I travel in and out of the City and so he accommodated my schedule by conducting this consultation by phone. Following the consultation was my actual first appointment. As I left my cut/color appointment last week, I told Robert that I always feel incredibly pretty when I leave his salon.
Robert has been styling my hair for over 30 years and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in my cut. I trust him completely, including his suggestions for a change in look. On occasion I'll suggest a new style. If he disagrees, he'll explain why he thinks it won't work for me. If he agrees, he adjusts it so that it suits me "to a T." I had spoken with Robert over the phone and he "accepted" me as a client after a brief screening phone call. He would allow me to have highlights done by him.
First off, you enter the salon through another day spa, which felt like a bustling farm of ladies getting several services. Robert's salon is a 2-seat room in the corner of this spa.
Robert was very nice and seemed to listen carefully to what I wanted, though injecting his opinions which seemed very persuasive. The service performed was very good, my highlights turned out well, though

I had the WORST hair experience of my life at the Robert Lucas Studio. I went in for a $75.00 consultation where I talked to Robert about what I wanted for my hair. He suggested I do a thin caramel highlight and I specifically told him I did not want a thin streaky highlight. I went back for a haircut before my color where I showed him a picture of a light brown hair color with subtle caramel highlights. He agreed that he would do that color for me. When I went in for my highlight all seemed fine until my hair was washed. The highlights seemed very thin, bleached and skunky looking. I hoped that

Robert Lucas is by far the absolute best. My hair had been beyond repair. I was a natural blonde who wanted to go a darker brunette, and the hair stylist I was previously going to gave me JET BLACK. I was desperate and went to Robert as a last resort. NOT ONLY did he completely strip the black from my hair, but my hair is HEALTHIER THAN BEFORE! Incredible. Robert is so lovely and listens to everything you want. He can walk the walk for sure and I will never go anywhere else. Robert is the man you want!
