Preferred Events

We just rented from Preferred Events for my parents 70th birthday party. The team was very professional, they responded to calls and emails same day and they were reasonably priced. At first I was only going to rent the tent from them, but when I saw how reasonable it was to add on the chairs, tables, linens, lights and heater I added it all. I highly recommend!

We used preferred events for our backyard wedding this weekend. Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING!!! I can’t even say enough about how great she was, she answered all my questions that i had leading up to the wedding and was there all day the day of to set up. We lost our wedding planner the week before and Jennifer stepped in and was incredible! she made sure everyone and everything was where it was supposed to go and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The backyard looked amazing. From the initial appointment jennifer and nick were great and everyone with the company was very professional

The whole process for renting the tent, tables, chairs and linens was very easy. Also all the people at Preferred Events were very professional and
always polite. After putting up tent it rained during the night and caused the tent to collapse. Called in morning and their response was to reinstall the broken tent within a couple of hours. When the time comes to need a tent
and accessories again would definitely use them.

The tents were PERFECT!!! The tables, linens , chairs , high tops, bistro lights... all perfect. In spite of the rain it was great. Not a drop of water under the tents! I had 3 separate tents and each one connected to the other and done seamlessly. This is the best experience I have ever had with a tent company and all the employees. I recommend this company to EVERYONE!

Working with Preferred Events was easy however there were a few stumbles across the way. The price was very reasonable which is the reason for the 2 star review but upon installation, they left the tent half set up and returned back to my home hours later. When tent pick up was scheduled, they came a day late and they came onto my property without my consent and collected their items. The customer service was good but the execution was lacking.

I have used preferred twice this past year and both delivery, pick up and quality. I just used them for my wedding this weekend and they were able to accommodate by an early delivery and changing table and chair numbers easily. Communication with them is extremely fast and easy and they came out to measure twice.

This company seemed like the right choice until tent arrived. Staff seemed a bit confused on how to set up the tent on a flat patio. My brother-in-law had to assist them in set-up. They did not inform me of when they would be arriving with tent and then tacked on an additional $100 fee for set-up. The “manager” actually accused us of lying about informing us about delivery time. We have never had such a poor experience, it is truly unfortunate. Choose your company wisely.

Prices are extremely reasonable. I dealt with Kristine via email who helped guide me on what exactly to get for the amount of people at my event. Any questions I had she would get back to me right away. The men who set up tent, tables and chairs were very friendly and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again in future!

Honestly, nothing short of a 5 star company. Nick and his team from the first time I reached out for a quote, to immediately coming to the house for an assessment, to the day before AND after our outdoor wedding, have been the most reliable company our family has ever worked with. Nick’s communication skills are what every company should strive to achieve. Even when emailing the amazing office staff - they would respond literally within minutes. My caterer, 2 days before our wedding, told me she couldn’t get the champagne flutes in time (when I had confirmed this order at least 3 months prior

We used PE for our daughter's first birthday and we were so impressed! Jo was very friendly and helpful. The woman in the office (I'm sorry I missed your name!) was amazing too and always in a great mood, ready to help when I called. They set up 2 days before the party which was amazing. We booked the 20x20 tent, tables and chairs. The staff who set up our tent was great, they even spot cleaned the tent if it got dirty during setup. PE was not only a pleasure to work with but they had the best prices and they will definitely be my go-to for party rentals in the future. Thanks for making our day
