This is my absolute favorite nail salon in Kansas!! Everyone is so nice and friendly. I had the best pedicure and full set of dip nails I’ve ever gotten! Highly highly recommend!!

I wanted to try a new nail salon because my last place just never gave me what I asked for so I decided to go here and they were very busy but fast and my nails were not chunky they were very thin and that’s good because most places are not and they gave me water and got me and my cousins nails done in about a hour and my nails are exactly what I wanted my nail teck was phoebe and my cousins was Kelly both very nice!we will definitely come back the price was 115 all together.Also gave me a $5 off for being a new customer.

I have been looking for a new nail salon and I happened to come across big apple spa and nails. I was impressed with the pictures they had posted. I was a walk in and did not wait that long. Tammy did my full set she did not hurt me once!!! I am really impressed with the set I got. I will be going back.

This place is AMAZING! I got a tip from my GF to check them out. I was off on a weekday and decided to pop over. The place was PACKED but even as a walk in I was seated immediately!
She was so super sweet and super fast!’
I was in and out in less than an hour, given a coupon for $5 off my next service and felt like a VIP the whole time!!
Even the owner was walking around the whole time and he was greeting people and making the whole experience comfortable and fun!!

I went in for a pedi and fill.. I kept telling the lady I need a fill because my thumb nail is split. All she kept saying was no it’s not split and your nails look good. If you didn’t want to do the service you should of said so. Now I’m stuck with a broken nail because she and her co-worker were too lazy to assist. U will never go here again!

The technician was very professional and helpful in accommodating what I wanted. I had a different product on my nails so she had to remove that but the whole experience was very nice. Most of their pedicures come with a hot stone massage which is a big plus for me. And my manicure was perfect, I’ll definitely be back.

BEWARE: My daughter and I stopped in for a mani & pedi. First, the technician did not clean up my cuticles, then she went too deep in my thumb nail after I repeatedly asked her to go light as my nails are naturally thin. After I became upset she switched to a file, still very sloppy and tore my skin. She used the tool again after the dip burning two more fingers causing one to bleed, she said she would be more careful. The dip was too thick and uneven. She filed my nails too short making it impossible to correct her mistakes. My daughters nail service was just as bad, we opted out of the pedicure

Husband and I come here for pedicures every few months. Today I got a gel manicure by Kenzie and it's so cute and perfect. I told her I wanted white but not a super bright white and she said "ok I know which one you want" and sure enough this is exactly what I wanted. The shaping is so cute and each nail is exactly the same. I'll have to get my nails done more often!

I had very high hopes for this salon because they've done my eyebrows before, but never have done my nails. I went in and the lady I had was pretty rude to me. She was yelling at me when I asked about the shape, color and cost. I was already over the whole entire thing. She did rush on my nails, so my nails were shaped weird. I honestly wanted to leave in the middle of the appointment because my nails were hurting pretty bad from what she was doing to me. In my opinion, but I would never come back to do my nails here. It might have been the tech I had, but I don't want to experience that

Walked in with no appointment on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but I was quickly greeted and instructed to pick a color out. I did a gel manicure and only had to wait around 5-10 minutes to get started. The chairs were a little uncomfortable as my back was slouched but I was allowed to grab a pillow from their sofa when I asked. The color was pretty, the service was great, how ever I do wish my hand massage was a little longer but I think my nails needed so much coats that time was spent more on that which is ok.

First off, I have had nothing but great experiences over the years at Big Apple. The entire time is great and I have missed going in due to COVID-19.
After two months of not going to the salon, my nails were in need of some TLC. I decided to get to treat myself and get the Mint Pedicure - one of the specials - and WOW it was fabulous!
Hana worked on my feet and legs for over an hour - massaging the various masks and scrubs into my skin. It was the most pampering pedicure I've received in years.
Sidenote- I was a little nervous to go back into public places due to the virus, but Big Apple

So far I've only been twice both times my dip color was gorgeous and lasted around 3-4 weeks! My second time going was right before everyone had to shut down due to COVID and they gave me a bottle of hand sanitizer which was a nice touch since I couldn't find any anywhere! I did get cut a couple of times with the drill which always sucks but I always get cut :/ the first time the girl cut me really really bad with the nippers. The second time I didn't get cut at all!

This place was very average, it didn't really take my breath away, for I expected it to be amazing for being top rated in 2018. I was going in for acrylics and they kept persuading me to get dip, so I got dip and didn't really like it it was chunky looking. The prices are also pretty up there, dip was $45 for me. The woman also didn't do an amazing job, I saw one of my nails uneven and asked her to fix it which should be her job
I decided to give this place another try and boy was I wrong. I was in horrible pain the entire time. The woman cut almost all of my cuticles leaving them

I'm the type that has a standing appt every month with my nail tech. It took me a long time to finally find someone I like in Kansas City, and once I found him, I never went anyone else. However, I'm staying in Wichita for over a month, so I had no choice but to find a nail salon out here. Big Apple had the most positive reviews so I decided on them, and I'm so glad I did. Lily was my nail tech and she did a fantastic job. My nails are finally long enough to do a shape other than square or round, and I've been waiting so long to do coffin shape, but I was worried about asking

I wanted to like this place because of how cheap my first visit was ($30 with the first-time coupon) and how well the nails were applied--they stayed on and looked nice for longer than most places I've been to in town--but I cannot forgive a nail salon when you take of your nails to find fungus on the nailbed.

I am VERY PLEASED with my visit. I stopped in while in Wichita visiting and I must say it was so worth it. The nail tech was attentive and listened to me and my friend's conversation concerning ideas. She helped me decide. I showed her what I wanted ans got exactly that. It was amazing! I've had bad experiences before but this was the complete opposite. She was very efficient and didn't take a long time. I got a fill, a matte finish with two accent nails. Very Very pleased, you would think I'd been there before. She kept my nail shape and cut my nails down to the perfect length
