It is a second generation, privately owned family business that does not use subcontractors. We specialize in the installation of French drains and sump pumps. The New Jersey, New York area has a notoriously high water table. Though it may not be immediately apparent to homeowners, ground water is constantly shifting below their foundation. When there is significant rain the water table rises and exerts pressure on your foundation. This pressure - known as hydrostatic pressure - will force water to seep into your basement via any seams, cracks, crevices, or pores.

I was impressed from my initial meeting with Mike Bradley who was knowledgable, professional and answered each of my many questions thoughtfully and in a language I could understand. No matter how often I reached out to Mike with additional questions, he always responded in a timely manner and never was annoyed which reinforced that I had chose the right company to install our French drains. Came on New Year's eve. Had a crew of 8. Worked hard and had job done in one day. I was surprised they could finish in one day. Did great work. Chose them because of all the good reviews. Took quite awhile for them to come because they were very busy after Ida. It was worth the wait.

Dealing with this ARID was a pleasure. They kept every appointment, including a confirmation of it, they gave us a complete estimate with complete details of the scope of work. I have owned my home for 20 years with no water in my finished basement. Since around 3 years ago I started getting water in the basement and it was progressively getting worse and worse. By the time I called arid my basement was flooding with the smallest amount of rain.. I learned that because so many oak tress have been cut and new big homes were being built all around the water table had shifted and the trees were no longer there to soak up the water. Arid came in in one day and did the job. Blasted the area, cleaned up ,and covered the space neatly with cement. It has been pouring here now
