I dove into fine art portraiture and loved bringing out a subject's individuality and spirit. I exhibited my work in galleries in New York City as well as having had my work published in a variety of magazines. Today, I LOVE photographing high school & college seniors, and teens!

Personally, I am someone who never like to take photos and I was extremely nervous about the shoot and was worried it would not turn out well. However, from the moment I got to our location, Suzanne turned my fears right around. Suzanne was amazing at finding the right poses for me and helping me feel beautiful in them. And beautiful is what I felt the entire time! Not only did Suzanne capture a special time in my life, but she also helped shape my journey to the future. She helped me find my style, my confidence, and my courage. I will remember this experience forever!

I posed for Mrs. Melendez in the fall of 2019, and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. I was a senior in high school, and she was able to capture my personality with ease. She and her husband made me feel comfortable and confident. Her kindness radiates like the sun, and I would work with her again any time. I can’t thank her enough for taking the best shots!

I am a parent, and I hired Suzanne Melendez to photograph my daughter's senior portraits. From beginning to end, Suzanne was creative, professional, and very personable. My daughter had never taken photos of this nature before, and Suzanne put her at ease from the start. The makeup, wardrobe, and location choices were spot-on, and the shoot was very professional, but also a lot of fun. The photos that Suzanne shot were amazing; it is clear that she took the time to get to know my daughter in order to capture her personality and beauty.
