Many elderly just need some extra attention and assistance with their activities of daily living, such as walking with someone to assist then, so they do not fall. They may need additional assistance with medications, cleaning or perhaps their laundry or taking a shower. It does not mean that they are in need of a nursing home. Founded in 2014, Safe Harbour Homes in Sturtevant, started with the idea and dedication to provide a more personalized and higher level of elderly care services. Having more than 20 combined years of experience in the field of senior care, we noticed a disconnect with most non-medical caregiving agencies and their clients.
Walter is a Registered Nurse and currently the President of Safe Harbour Homes. He has a wife and three children who mean very much to him. He has worked in the medical field for several years with his most recent experience working in Emergency Medicine. He has also worked as a Health and Safety Manager at a large manufacturing facility.
Safe Harbour Homes specializes in providing personalized care for seniors and disabled individuals. Our goal is to help families and the elderly maintain a healthy balance in life. Our professionally trained caregivers provide a range of personal services that make life a little simpler, and more manageable.
Built in 2015, this house features 4 private bedrooms on each side. 2 bathrooms (1 large full bath and 1 half-bath.) A large family living room, full kitchen and a large back patio area for our residents to socialize with family and fellow house mates. This location has 8 residents and is the home of our office.
Our Limerick Lane home was bought in 2016 and currently is home to 3 residents. This house has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a large kitchen and dining room. Unique to this house is the spacious 4 seasons room. This is truely a country style home. We have 1 room available, for your loved one to join our family, in our newley remodeled country home.
