Services
Care in the Home was founded in 1989 by Ruth Friedman as a private duty home caregiver agency. Over time our organization has grown to include skilled Medicare services such as nursing and therapy. As our capability to serve our community continues to grow, we continue to focus on our fundamental principles of professional expertise and ethics, best practices in delivering care, and a mission to serve our clients as we would our own family.
Our admissions consultants are available by phone at 847-256-1705 Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 5 PM. The goal of every discussion is simply to be helpful in an honest, forthright manner. To get the most of this service, the consultant will explore the details of the client's condition and circumstances and then will discuss how our services could be helpful.
Our company is accredited through The Joint Commission, a national organization that ensures that home health agencies meet and maintain high standards of care and safety. Caregivers may not perform any type of injections, which can make managing a client's insulin difficult. However, the caregiver may be able to assist in a limited fashion if the client is able to direct their own care.

I was hesitated to use this agency based on their reviews. But my friend who used them about a year ago, highly recommended them to me for my uncle's care. He has been using their nursing, therapy and aide services for couple months. They are all very professional and have passion on what they are doing. Well trained and can be trusted. They communicated very well with his doctor for any changes. The live-in caregivers are so caring. They take good care of my uncle who live by himself so I can work without any worry. The house is kept clean and neat all the time. Thank you so much for the wonderful
