Thomas Curington, the founder of Curington Contracting, was born and raised in Miami, where he worked in construction with his father and grandfather. He later married Lillian, and together they had three sons: John, David, and Dan. In 1972, Thomas moved his family to the Marion County area and acquired his State Certified Class "A" General Contractor's License.

Curington is licensed under a State Certified Building license. Curington maintains General Liability insurance that far exceeds the minimum requirement and in addition, Curington provides "Builders Risk Insurance" during construction, which covers the home.

I HIGHLY recommend Curington Homes LLC. We were unable to build with them since we currently live in the Tampa area, but when we lived in Ocala we wanted to build with them!! We know a lot of the staff and their values. They are committed to building beautiful homes held to the highest standards. They really are great people and they want to help design the home that would fit your lifestyle and dreams!! One of my favorite things to do when I come to town is to check out any models they have. They are ALWAYS stunning!!

We had such a great experience working with Curington homes. The communication along the way, was so helpful especially for being a nervous 1st time custom home buyer. There were no surprises at the end and best of all the home turned out better then we could have imagined.

Tim Boutwell is the General Manager for Curington Homes residential division. Tim was our main contact during the entire process and he has made this endeavor a true pleasure. Tim was so much more than the man in charge of building our home as he is now our friend

After supplying Curington Contractors Inc. with a $5000 deposit, HOA information and signing a contract they increased the price to build by over $6500. In doing so we could no longer afford to build. During the signing of the contract the builder was asked if there would be any additional costs. We were told "No". Curington then blamed the additional cost on us due to our lot that they had already reviewed The contract was signed weeks after the initial meeting thus giving them enough time to put together a price. We only found out about the price increase during casual conversation
