We served great pizza and yummy treats to the huge crowds. If you've never attended Mason's Independence Day Festival you're really missing out on a great community event. This year the entertainment will rock the night away right up to the famous Rozzi's Fireworks.
Since 1991 the Owners of Comets Pizza have been serving pizza to the good people of southwestern Ohio as well as travelers and tourist that visit Kings Island and the surrounding areas.Family owned and operated, We take pride in the quality of our pizza and other menu items. Comets is your hometown pizzeria where in today's crazy economy you can still get an honest pizza at a fair price.

If you missed it, the weather was fantastic and the event was well attended with attendance estimates of 50,000. We were located in the Kid's Zone along with several other concession vendors. Opening to the public at 2:30pm, attendance grew throughout the day until evening when Huey Lewis & the News took the stage prior to the Rozzi's fireworks.

Had a question so I tried to call. Google and the website both say this place is open for carryout right now, so I called 3 times trying to place a carry out order. Phone rang forever then asked for a "remote access code". Might want to look into getting your phones fixed or the number corrected. Will try again next week maybe.

Placed an order online about a half hour ago for pickup. My husband left to pick it up and got a text, “We’ve just learned Comet Pizza is closed for the day. We’ve canceled your order.” Ridiculous. The online ordering shouldn’t allow an order to be submitted, and give a pickup time, if the store isn’t open. Also, nowhere does it say they are closed.

Absolutely the best pizza in town! Obviously because they have won Cincinnati magazines best pizza place for two or three times! Don't let the parking fool you, they only have a few spots. There is parking behind the building! Absolutely nothing like a family owned pizza place that does everything from scratch!

I hate to be the one who puts a 4 star on a perfect record.
The pizza that I'm eating right now is delicious. The wait time was standard and to be expected. The dining room, while small, also hosted two modest flat screen tv's. They're open surprisingly late for how small their employee base is, and the people there seem kind and quiet.
Only thing that got me was the price, but I'm used to chain pizzeria's with competitive pricing. Two pizza's netted me a 45 dollar bill. (16inches each)
But don't let that price tag turn you away from probably one of the most delicious homemade pizzas I've had

I really love this place. The couple that runs the store are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. The pizza is fantastic! So many varieties. The pizza is a bit on the expensive side if you get the gourmet varieties. If you order a more traditional pie its much cheaper, I think they've even got a lunch special during the week where you can get 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese for 5 or 6 bucks. That said, you'll really want to get a specialty pizza. My biggest complaint is that their hours are odd. They keep separate winter hours and the hours on Google are wrong right now. I suggested

The pizza here is good - not great. The biggest surprise was the price; I order the food I want, not food in a specific price range. Nevertheless, a large meat pizza and a large pepperoni pizza came out to $55!!! If the pizza was stellar, I'd be okay paying that much. But, that was definitely overpriced for the quality. That said, it's better than some of its local/nearby competitors.
