An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations and death. Whatever the reason is for medication non-adherence, we have a solution for you.
Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
When it comes to disease prevention, immunizations are key. Getting vaccinated protects you and those around you. Our main focus is to help you and your loved ones stay up-to-date on the recommended vaccines. We offer a variety of immunizations. Our highly qualified staff can easily administer these immunizations here at the pharmacy.
You may find that you have been prescribed a number of medications, and that you need to take them at different times of the day. It can be difficult to keep track of what medication you need to take and when. We offer a multi-dose packaging that bundles your medications together by date and time. For example, all your medications that are to be taken in the morning will be packaged together in one pack.
Do you ever find it difficult to keep up with your medication refills and picking up your medications? If you answered yes, you may benefit from medication synchronization. Med Synchronization, also called med sync, is a program we offer here at the pharmacy to help synchronize your medication refills so that you will be able to pick up ALL of your medications on a single day each month.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for 44 years I grew up around the corner. I came in today to get a prescription filled for my mom. Told the kid I would come back later to pick them up. My mom then called me asked if I can get a refill for her Albuterol. So I went back in asked the kid if I can give him a prescription number and get a refill in as well. He then told me there was three other customers before me and he doesn’t know if we can get it filled. I told him I would come back when I get the other prescriptions it didn’t have to be right away. He then continued to say he didn’t know

UPDATE & RESPONSE: I appreciate the owner replied to my original review by saying they apologize for the problems we encountered but they cannot help Covid regulations. While this is true and I agree with that, THEY SHOULD NOT CLAIM TO TEST FOR HAWAII. If they claim this, they SHOULD KNOW the regulations and not say "Yes, we test for travel to Hawaii" even after I explained the Safe Travels requirements they STILL said, annoyed by my questions, "Sigh, again, yes, we test for travel to Hawaii." Now, I accept my responsibility of trusting Highland Pharmacy since it is their profession, not mine.

If you are traveling to Hawaii DO NOT TEST HERE! I called to confirm that they are a Hawaii approved testing center and was told 'yes.' Fast forward to the day of the trip, our Safe Travels quarantine exemption is REJECTED!! I call to make sure I was using the correct lab name and was told they do not guarantee testing for travel. Now, how many of you have heard their commercial saying they test for travel. So we not only paid$100 for a worthless COVID-19 test, we had to pay $500 PER PERSON for an expedited test at LAX.

I have been filling at Highland Pharmacy for about 6 months now (for both myself and my pet) though it may be aggravating at times, the service is unmatched. They do have employees that come and go but their solid core from what I've seen; Jessica, Leo, Shae and my newest favorite Rudy - might be a delivery driver, go the extra mile for you.
My pet takes pimobindan (excuse my spelling) monthly and every single month they are able to deliver his specially compounded medicine. Sometimes there are hiccups as with all small businesses but the employees are always apologetic and patient with my frustration
