Services
At Paramount Living Aids we help people with mobility challenges enjoy safety and independence in their homes with stairlifts and other mobility aids. Physical challenges, aging, illness or injury can limit your ability to move around your house safely. Climbing stairs can be especially difficult or even dangerous because of the potential for falls.
Stairlifts enable people with mobility challenges to move freely between floors in a multilevel home or office while being seated in a chair. The Stairlift moves along a track attached to the stairs. Being able to continue to live in the home you love even after an illness or injury limits your mobility, is priceless.
If you use a mobility device (applies to scooters, wheelchairs and power chairs as well), a vertical platform Lift will allow you access into and out of your home or other areas of your home such as decks and porches, without having to transfer out of your wheelchair. A vertical platform lift functions much like an elevator lifting you to areas that would otherwise be inaccessible.
We offer three different types of ramps - modular ramps, portable ramps and Threshold ramps manufactured by National Ramp, PVI and EZ-Access. Modular ramp systems combine ramps, platforms and handrails for reliable wheelchair accessibility into your home. Our modular ramps are made of aluminum, wood or steel and can be configured for a variety of applications.
We offer a full line of Pride Scooters for those who require more flexibility and comfort than wheel chairs offer. Their light, compact design makes them easy to transport. We offer a variety of makes and models and so we can find one that fits your need and budget. We don't have a showroom at this time, but we are very knowledgeable on the many models that are available.
