We really enjoyed this tour and the awesome views we were able to take in from the back roads! We learned many interested facts along the way. The treats and blueberry picking at an Amish farm were a fun surprise, and the farm-fresh ice cream from the creamery we stopped at was delicious! Strasburg is our home base and one of Lancaster County's neatest small towns with lots to offer, including nine of our best and most loved tours.

Our tour guide Brian Barr was very personable and informative about the amish culture and history. The scooter was easy to ride and very comfortable and made exploring the amish countryside a breeze!

What an absolutely lovely time my family had this past weekend doing the Santa scooter tour with Strasburg Scooters! Our tour guide, aka Santa himself, could not have been more merry and wonderful. He made sure we felt comfortable with blankets (as it was chilly), candy cane treats for the kids (and us) and using the scooters.

We had an amazing time touring Amish country on our scooters, it was sooo much fun! We got to stop at a covered bridge and take photos and see all the sights of the local area in the most fun way. Beyond a Cool experience and so glad we made the trip!

Brian was friendly, and knowledgeable. The weather was not cooperating. It was extremely windy and cold. But Brian made it an enjoyable experience. An amazing fun day. Definitely something great to do in Lancaster!

We drove motor scooters down roads of Stradsberg, PA. Listened to spooky historical stories along the way. They great with safety equipment too. Loads of fun and great sights of Amish country. We went at 6: 45 pm tour which made the trip more spooky as we drove in the dark. Our tour guide was great & made sure everyone had a good time! Would definately do this again!

This place is great if you are trying to have a scooter tour around town.

1. Reservation- absolutely necessary. They do have lots of scooter (single person), so last minute we were able to get in.

2. Service - lady who runs the shop is nice and her husband the tour guide is great too.

3. Scooters: if you have motorcycle license you can do the bigger one and bring your child along, single seater scooters are available and the best, which is 2 people 3 wheeled types run out fast, so plan ahead.

4. The view/tour: you get to see the town and the guide makes sure we don't travel through

We went on this trip several weeks back and had a blast. We rented two single seat scooters and one Scoot coupe and did the Covered Bridge Tour. It makes for a great family outing. The kids can go with adults in the Scoot Coupe or, if they're old enough, can go on their own Single seat. The tour guide was great (I'm sorry I don't remember his name), had an amazing knowledge of the area and was very comical. He represented the business VERY well, to the point that I thought he may be the owner. Thanks for the pictures by the way!! I hope he's the guide on our next visit. We'll certainly be doing

Absolutely wonderful birthday experience! We went on the 3 hour tour of Lancaster county bridges in the scoot coupe. Incredible views of the country. Our guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and caring of our safety. We even had a surprise visit with a local Amish family which was very nice. And despite it being 100 degs, we still had a blast. Looking forward to another outing!

Despite the on/off rain Brian, our scooter tour guide, made our first time riding scooters a great experience! The rain was predicted to stop by the time our 9am tour started but didn't. Brian remained optimistic, enthusiastic and safe. His patience with the quick training/practice was reassuring for my nerves. Overall we had a great time in addition to the sun finally making it's way on the way back to end our tour.

Absolutely the best way to see Lancaster and the tour guide, Brian was amazing! We came early to do the required training since I had never even been on a scooter before and we were able to practice until everyone was comfortable and start on time! My boyfriend is very tall and they were prepared to fit him into a larger scooter and make sure he was comfortable before hitting the road. We enjoyed the opportunity to stop and go getting off the scooters for some pictures at the covered bridges and then enjoying the countryside from the scooter. By far one of the coolest tours we have done and with

Great fun but not on a rainy day. I would have enjoyed it more if the weather was better. However, that wasn't Strasburg Scooters' fault. Brian, our guide, was great. He helped everyone and made sure everyone was safe.

Even though he says he would make sure everyone has enough timing to make it all through an intersection, you really can't trust that. You, the driver, have to make sure you look both ways at every intersection yourself. You have to stop at every stop sign. So that means you will lose the group of people who were ahead of you. Other than that, you will be fine. We

My wife and I went on a guided two hour tour. We each rented a scooter and had a blast. It took a little for my wife to feel comfortable and she would have liked a littler extra time to feel secure, but quickly picked it up and had a blast.
We went on back roads and saw areas we would have never seen on our own.

We ended going through town and by that time everyone felt comfortable to be amidst traffic.

We would do this again... hands down! Great weekend getaway option in Lancaster.

We signed up for the Amish tour. Lorraine was our guide and was amazing! She was very informative at each stop and allowed us time to look around the farms and make our purchases at the stores. It was enjoyable for the whole family and we would definitely come back and tour again.

Family owned business. The scooters were fun to drive. The tour we took was 3 hours through the scenic backroads of Amish country. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The bathrooms were clean and they provided complimentary water bottles. The scoot coupes are decent size and can accommodate taller people.

I opted for the Tour of the Covered Bridges on the single scooter and it was SO much more than expected. Not only was this my 1st visit to Lancaster, but I've never been on a scooter! When you arrive, they greet you with a friendly smile and hot dogs & snow cones. They give you plenty of time to get comfortable handling the scooter, and provide the helmet. The countryside is so stunning. The tour was also informational, interesting, with a couple interesting surprises that you'll see when you take the tour. Brian, our guide was especially wonderful, and took extra care that I would

If you are looking for an all inclusive Amish/Lancaster experience, you can not pass up Strasburg Scooters! When planning a visit to Lancaster, you can easily get lost, in all there is to see and do. The stress of trying to plan what to do, and trying not to miss out on anything can be overwhelming. Herein lies the very magic of the Strasburg Scooters tours. During our amazing ride, we were able to take in amazing Amish/Lancaster backroads, visit a working(horses, goats, pigs, cows, Corgi) Amish farm, try real local Amish treats(ice cream, lemonade, muffins), and take pictures at historic and scenic

This was my second time at Strasburg Scooters and I can promise it won't be my last! This time I took my boyfriend, my 5 year old niece, and 8 year old nephew. We did the Country Roads Excursion and while it was a chilly morning, we all had a blast! Marc was a very fun and informative guide and for some reason he took to the four of us right away. The kids loved his teasing and the whole tour was the highlight of our weekend adventures in Amish Country!!
Oh, and now my boyfriend wants to go work for them. If that's not the best compliment, I don't know what is!
Thanks for a great time!

This was the first time I did an Amish tour in Lancaster. The tour guide was funny, informative, and did a good job at making sure our group stayed together. He talked about the historical background of the Amish and told us random facts about the Amish. He clearly has an in with the Amish, because we stopped at different places a tourist wouldn't be able to go on their own. The tour lasted about 3 hours and even though I live in Lancaster (and do some work for them) I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I can't say enough good things about the day we spent with Strasburg Scooters. My husband and I were driving back to Alabama from dropping our daughter (only child that we're VERY close with) off at college in NYC. We decided to make a stop in Amish country on the way home and after a quick search for fun things to do, we found these guys. It was honestly one of the funnest things we've ever done. We are planning to do it again and with our daughter when we pick her up in May! This was worth every penny and I absolutely recommend it for everyone of every age.

I had a great experience touring the area around Lancaster. We left out of Bird in Hand, PA location. The scooter was easy to drive. The tour guide provided really interesting information and insight from her experience with the Amish community. We made many stops to see the different aspects of life in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed my fresh ice cream, pretzels, and apple cider. Highly recommend this experience!

This was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had! Here are some highlights:

The ride - it was quick and easy to learn how to ride the scooter. Riding was very enjoyable and relaxing!
The culture - you learn about the local Amish community and even visit a few of them. They offered tasty lemonade and some of the best dessert samples I've ever had. It's clear that this business has a great relationship with many of the locals
The staff - our tour guide, Karen, was knowledge and very friendly. Everything we needed to know was very clear, and you can tell she enjoys doing

I rarely give a full 5 star review because there always seems to be at least something that takes away from a first class experience. Not true with Strasburg Scooters (or the Lovelace Manor Bed & Breakfast whose owners suggested this tour).

We took the covered bridge tour which was about a 35 mile and ~3.5 hour tour through back country roads passing by Amish farms (many of the families outside), and a couple of Amish one-room school houses The scenery was nothing less than spectacular.

Our tour guide was Marc Crusemire, owner of the Strasburg Scooters business. This guy has the absolute

The folks at Strasburg Scooters put on a one-of-a-kind scooter tour along Amish farms and surrounding countryside in Strasburg, PA.

The staff is extremely friendly & helpful, especially to new riders.

Beginning with basic scooter operation and riding skills, SS quickly leads everyone on this two wheel tour.

Expect to see lots of Amish farms, covered bridges, and even a 1773 cemetery.

Ride with family or ride with friends - it's a wonderful adventure.
