My name is Gabrielle Mendez, and I'm SO excited to be a part of the EventsbytheCea team! I was never that kid that always knew what they wanted to be when they grew up, so I ended up just deciding to see where life would take me. Fortunately, I fell into the hands of Christina at EventsbytheCea, and have been SHINING ever since!
I'm Lisa, but you can call me L. I love love, and getting to be a part of your wedding day is truly an honor! From an early age, I was obsessed with weddings. I've seen "The Wedding Planner" and "Bride Wars, " more times than I would care to admit, and began dreaming of my walk down the aisle at age five.
If I could give Christina and her team 100 stars, I would. 5 Stars is not enough stars for the service provided by Christina. I recently got married about 2 weeks ago, but hired Christina 7 months before the big day. Although she offers Day-Of or Month-Of packages, I decided that I needed all the help I could get.

Highly recommend!!! Heidi and team were SO wonderful to work with! Even though we hired Events By the Cea as our day-of coordinators, Heidi assured me that I have her full support from the moment we signed the contract. Heidi was SUPER responsive to all of my phone calls and texts (even at random hours of the day) which was really appreciated as a bride. We had a chance to work with Heidi from EventsbytheCea and that was the best decision. She is amazing! She went above and beyond to help us with our wedding. We planned our wedding to happen in 2020 which had to be postponed to 2021. Heidi helped us throughout the entire process and kept us on track. Look no further, Genesis was the best!! My husband and I heard about Events by the Cea from a friend of ours who was using their services for their upcoming wedding. I reached out to them and Genesis got right back to me within a timely manner. She was very informative and answered any questions we had when it came to the services they offered. We decided to go with her pre-covid and had to end up pushing our wedding from Nov 2020 to April 2021. Throughout the whole pandemic she remained in contact with us. Christina and her group did an amazing job on our wedding. Like many people here, with COVID-19 and the pandemic wreaking havoc on weddings everywhere, Christina and Events by the Cea did everything to make our wedding ceremony magical and memorable.
There were a lot of adjustments needed to have a COVID-19 wedding, and Christina and Events by the Cea handled it. I got married in October of this year and was so glad I stumbled upon Christina and her team! She truly knows the industry inside and out, and is very organized which took a lot of stress off of me. Out of all our vendors, Events By The Cea was our best decision and best deal! Our venue required a day-of coordinator and we were recommended Christina and her company. Right off the bat from our phonecall, she was super sweet and helpful, giving us so much information before we hired her. We hired Christina and her team for day of coordination for our wedding at Hangar 21 South in Fullerton. Let me just say, they do WAY more than just making sure the day runs smoothly. Our wedding venue was a blank slate so they helped with design and brought everything to life and It turned out way better than I could have ever imagined. The assistants were able to transform our Vrbo patio from blah to WOW!!
