I have a psychology practice in Laguna Hills in Orange County, with both clinical and business consulting services. On the clinical side I do psychological evaluations, psychological counseling for adults and respond to traumatic events such as shootings or natural disasters. During the pandemic crisis, I have moved therapy sessions to video conferences using a HIPAA- compliant platform.
Management consultation can be provided on the phone, at workplace locations or other settings. Psychological evaluations are not available during the pandemic due to the need for face-to-face testing. Dr. Sue Frixione is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of California, and a member of the American Psychological Association. Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Frixione earned her masters and doctoral degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Her training placements included seeing clients in private practice, at Kaiser Permanente and in a locked inpatient hospital.

Most people would say that this year, 2020, has been a difficult year for them. For me, that would be a significant understatement. With all honesty, 2020 has been the worst year of my entire life, and I have been increasingly overwhelmed with the feeling that my emotions are continuously descending into a bottomless chasm of sadness and despair.

I love Dr. Frixione. She was recommended to me from another doctor in the area, Dr. Nasser. I have been going to her for nearly 6 months to talk about my mental health and my eating disorder. She makes me feel heard and not judged which is extremely important to me in counseling. The girl at the front desk is always extremely nice and tries her best to personally remember my schedule/availability off the top of her head which I appreciate. My only problem is I hardly ever catch anyone when I call on the phone in instances when I need to reschedule and instead am just directed to leave a voicemail
