Joseph P. Velasquez, owner of The Glass Act, has over 30 years of experience working with glass. After finishing his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force, he began apprenticing in a carpentry and glass shop. He worked for two other glass companies in Espanola and Santa Fe before venturing out on his own in 1997, with the goal of offering better service and higher customer satisfaction.
Joseph believes in quality service for a fair price. He has trained a small and highly professional crew of glass experts, and provides close monitoring and oversight of all their work. For 20 years, The Glass Act has operated almost solely by word of mouth, through referrals from architects, window companies, contractors, and happy neighbors.

The Glass Act is a small, locally owned and operated a company that has served Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico for more than two decades. We pride ourselves in quality work and customer satisfaction that sets us apart from our competitors. We offer quick, reliable service, and provide emergency services on weekends.
I have worked with Glass Act since I built my home in 1997. My wife is a General Contractor and Architect and I live in a custom home that has many unique qualities and required a true artisan for much of the finish work. We contracted with the Glass Act or some unusual work that required Precision any true understanding of fabrication.
