Phoenix Psychology and Counseling LLC's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care mental healthcare on an as-needed, preventative or restorative basis. We have created a practice that we believe in and would choose for our own family members. We are a full-service psychology and counseling practice of dedicated, experienced professionals who believe in working with our patients to maintain, improve and optimize their mental health.
When things aren't going right in our lives and we are feeling down, we say we are depressed. Depression is also being unable to shake these feelings when things are going right. In either situation, depression can include feelings of emptiness, sadness, fatigue, irritability, difficulty concentrating and overwhelm.

I found Dr. Nicole Spanakis in May 2020 -- to help with my mom's depression, alcoholism and anxiety. She was in a bad place at the time. She met with her six times and determined she wasn't engaged or had anything to say. I'm really disappointed, since I was the one who paid for the services. Despite her qualifications, she is without empathy or direction. People turn to psychologist as a last hope, and it's startling to come to the realization that a professional could, in actuality, do more harm than good. Thankfully, I found someone with greater qualifications and a well-established ambition
