This place is amazing, so grateful I found them. Sam and his team were a whiz at figuring out why my laptop wasn't charging and even let me take home a lender part while waiting for my new order. They were fast, efficient, and oh so helpful. Highly recommend Totally Computer for PC or Mac users.

Once again Sam and Steven saved me when my laptop died. We have been using Totally Computers, Inc. for many years. Being technically challenged, Sam and Steven were able to remove all the data from the old laptop and transfer it to the new one. They were incredibly efficient and had everything setup and running within a couple days. It was like I never lost a beat with work. Sam kept me in the loop every step and the way. The cost was so reasonable. Also for a small fee, I took all my old computer equipment and mobile phones in and they removed all my information so they could be recycled

We are computer experts. But every so often we encounter a problem we can't fix. When that happens, and it has happened about once a year for the past 11 or 12 years, we call Sam. Over the years Sam has become not only our backup but a good friend too.

My husband & I have been going to Sam Liang and his assistant, Steve, for many years. You will never find a more efficient, skilled, communicative computer repair service. Not only do they have the technology & experience to resolve your problems, but the turn around time is unbelievably fast. In less that 24 hours after dropping off my Mac Mini, it was operating like a newer, faster computer. Even if we lived farther away from Totally Computer, we wouldn't take our computers anywhere else.

I have had Totally Computer solve any computer problem, repair my computers if necessary and do computer services for the last 13 years, for my business and personal computers. They were always very knowledgeable and helpful and always did great work at a reasonable cost. Never had to go back twice on any job. Besides solving computer problems like virus issues or computer function issues, they also can do things like quickly transfer hard drive data and programs from one computer to another computer when you get a new computer.

We were having computer problems and found this place on Yelp. Sam was just great, he and Steve fixed the computer, no more problems, did more than we even expected, saved me money on Norton Anti-Virus through my Xfinity service I did not even know about and even loaded it for me for free. He is timely, fair, honest, and so nice, I found my computer guy forever. These guys are great!

Totally Computer is the best! Expert and courteous service from the owner, Sam, and his staff. They built my computer in 2011, and it has been trouble free & working great until I tried to install some bad software. Totally Computer diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. I wouldn't take my computer anywhere else for repairs.

I've been using Totally Computers for over a decade. As a gaming enthusiast who has built my own computers/ and used all sorts of computers Sam has always been my go to when something goes wrong. He has always come through. He is professional, efficient, and i trust him. If it can be fixed he can definitely figure it out.

These guys are great! They worked on a hard drive to retrieve info two years ago. Recently, I lost a connection with the monitor and panicked ...several days before tax time... ran in with the tower and they calmly figured the monitor or connection was at fault... right on... it was the loose connection with the monitor itself.

I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I have had Totally Computers work on our computers because they are dedicated to solving your computer issues promptly, at a fair price (they have to cover their over head and make a decent profit) and with the peace of mind knowing if they discover other issues going on, they will contact you first before proceeding. I find that refreshing. Recently, I had a Windows' OS error appear. I called Sam and he suggested I try a few things which did resolve the error. Sam at Totally Computer has helped us with our home computer challenges for more than 7 years. We recently bought a new computer, and they successfully moved our applications and files from the old computer to the new one. They were amazingly able to find a way to run my favorite little DOS database program. They've always been generous with the time they've given us to make sure things worked. Highly recommended.

NOTE: This isn't a comment on how well these folks fix computers. It's a comment on the front end of customer service. I got a recommendation to Totally Computer, went on their website, clicked Contact Us, and sent them an email. Fifteen days later, I still haven't heard from them (I checked spam). (I live in a place with lousy cell reception, so I didn't call.) If you're not set up to respond to email--especially if you're in the computer business!--you should not list an email address under Contact Us. I'm going with someone else.

Sam has been great. Not only did he recover computer information for me which I thought was lost forever but he put a new hard drive into my computer and now things are perfect.

I looked at a lot of reviews on computer shops in the area and while there were many seemingly good choices, the consistently high praise for Totally Computer and the fact that the owner's name was Sam (I'm a Sam, too) lead me to San Rafael.

Sam was super friendly, fixed the hard drive on my 7 year old PC in a day, told me it still had life in it if I treated it carefully and gave it a cleanup. It was the epitome of a great customer experience leaving me happier because my problem was solved and Sam is an engaging business owner who makes the whole transaction/interaction more enjoyable

I am not a technical person. You could sell me the Brooklyn Bridge, metaphorically speaking, in terms of computer repair. I spilled coffee on my keyboard, my NEW Mac keyboard! Through a series of happy leads, I found Sam. He was 1/4 the MAC authorized service quote. He is very, very kind and helpful. He is, most importantly, an honest person because he could have ripped me off and I wouldn't have known the difference and he didn't.
