Services
Our Core Programs are designed to meet your child's needs the year round. We accept children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 1/2. You may choose to enroll your child in either the 10-month program August through May or the 12-month program. Year round, all programs are available for 5 days a week, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays), or 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
Plant Life Cycle lessons occur each day in our school gardens where the children work together and create a beautiful space to observe nature in progress. The students weed, water and taste everything they grow, while the butterflies and birds benefit from our efforts. Children measure rainfall and tally the gallons of water used each week in caring for their garden.
A $100.00 application for admission fee should accompany the Application for Enrollment form. This fee is used for record processing and evaluation of child and is non-refundable. Enrollment is limited; your child may be registered on our school's waiting list if space is unavailable at the time of your application.
After a tedious search for the right preschool, my husband and I were drawn to Edgewood Academy not only for their focus on academics, but for their emphasis on developing the "whole child." Edgewood's small class sizes create a learning environment in which every child has an opportunity to succeed.

Both of my kids have attended Edgewood and we’ve always been impressed with entire staff’s caring nature. They are innovative educators, caring professionals that put the health and safety of the children first. One teacher dedicated a year to online learning Covid and it was impressive to see how engaged 4 years olds were over a computer during each session. The summer camps were a lot of fun for my older son and I look forward to my younger one experiencing the next few years at this fantastic school. I would highly recommend Edgewood Academy to anyone looking for a great preschool.

My twin girls have gone to Edgewood for several years now and we couldn't be happier. The teachers and staff are nice, caring and truly enjoy being with children. As a teacher myself, I wanted a school that would provide a strong academic, social and emotional program with lots of hands on activities that encouraged growth across all areas. Edgewood has done that and more. I would recommend Edgewood to any family!
