It doesn't cost the buyer anything out of pocket. The seller pays a pre-negotiated commission to the listing agent, who in turn pays the buyer's agent through cooperation under the multiple listing service (Realtracs). The housing market in Tennessee over the summer (2021) was crazy - houses were selling so fast you barely had time to see a house in person, let alone think about it for too long.
Added to all this, we were moving in from out of state, which made… things more difficult.

Heather is/was amazing! Our sale was a bit different. Our house sold in a weekend. Then I was suddenly called out of town because of my job. My wife and two young daughters were unexpectedly left to take care of the packing and closing.
