Northeast Window Tint
Although windows are an architectural necessity in every home and building, they are also a weak point, susceptible to heat gain, heat loss, breakage, and UV radiation. Turning to window coverings such as blinds, curtains, or drapes may appear to solve some of these issues. However, they also block out the sun's natural light and obstruct your view.

There is a solution that allows you to mitigate the undesirable aspects of your windows while still enjoying their positive features. Window films improve the performance of your existing windows by blocking heat-causing infrared light and damaging UV rays. Some window films are uniquely designed to enhance the strength of your windows to deter break-ins and smash and grab crimes.
Services
Northeast Window Tint is a 3M Authorized Dealer of Window Film Products and an exclusive dealer of 3M Prestige Window Films serving the Western New York area since 1991. Our 3M factory trained installers provide high quality professional installations for both commercial and residential applications throughout the Western New York region.
Recent architectural trends provide for greater use of glass in offices and conference rooms. Though open floor plans encourage collaboration and community in the workplace, clear glass leaves office works void of necessary privacy. 3M's decorative films create privacy by simulating etched glass at a fraction of the price of the real thing.
A window is typically the most vulnerable part of a home or office building. That's because glass is more fragile than concrete, brick, wood, and most other construction materials. After all, if an intruder wants to break into your home or office, most likely he will do it by smashing a window rather than a brick wall or wood door.
The sun's energy and light create unnecessary heat that makes us uncomfortable and causes annoyances like fading and glare. Typical remedies include costly air-conditioning and blinds that hinder our views, which are the reason we have windows in the first place. 3M has been solving this problem for homes and businesses for over 50 years with 3M Sun Control & Insulating Window Films.
Based upon several 3M core technologies, the 3M Company invented window film in 1966 and holds the original patent. 3M is the only window film company to manufacture its window films from start to finish, including polyesters, adhesives, and protective coatings. The adhesive is protected until the film is applied to the window for a crisp, distortion-free, and clean appearance.

After having the sun destroy a floor shortly after we built our house we knew we needed to do something help prevent further bleaching. Window tinting was the only economical solution that would not change the appearance of our home. We have since tinted more than half of the windows in the house. We highly recommend Northeast and the 3M film.
