Our PADI Open Water Diver course is enrolling now! We have limited spaces so make sure you call and RSVP soon. The course consists of 5 classes total. Each class will run from 6:30pm-10pm. Half of each classroom session takes place in the dive shop located at 8 Church St Warren, RI while the other half of each class will take place at our designated pool.
After the 5 classes, there will be open water dives which will take place on a Saturday and Sunday in Newport, RI. The course cost covers all the pool fees, course materials, open water dives and scuba gear rentals. The PADI Open Water certification is a life long certification and recognized worldwide, so once you receive your certification you can dive anywhere in the world for the rest of your life.

Nick has been with East Bay Dive Center since 2014. He was certified by Dave in May of 2008. Nick is an avid spearfisherman and has dove locations all over the world. Look in the back of the shop if he's not out front because he's probably filling tanks or servicing your equipment!. Mark is a certified PADI diving instructor.

East Bay Dive Center is great! A small local shop that has everything that you need. Dave the owner is very knowledgeable and great with pairing you with the right equipment. He also has dive classes from beginner to advanced to rescue diver and beyond. He'a recommended dive sites that turned out to be really cool is a wealth of knowledge! Other places might be bigger but the service and knowledge and friendly atmosphere keep me going there.

We have had a great experience with Dave at East Bay. We're a Boy Scout Troop that is sending scouts on a high adventure dive trip in the Keys and Dave has helped every step of the way. I can't thank him enough. I would strongly recommend that anyone who is looking for a local dive shop to do business with, Dave and East Bay is fantastic.
