Services
Allison has a background in Finance and Training. She became a PADI Open Water Instructor in 2015 and is also a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. You'll normally find her working in the retail part of the store, or assisting with classes. She's got a great eye for getting you properly fit into gear and can make sure you get the best equipment available.
Our Discover SCUBA intro costs $60 per person, with $30 credited to your Open Water class if you sign up within 30 days. Our standard Open Water SCUBA Diver class costs $549* for a regular group class and Private lessons are also available. And our regular pricing includes gear rental, open water dives and no surprise fees!
Whether you've been dry for a while and need to refresh scuba principles and skills, or you've been diving a lot but want to review the basics, PADI ReActivate is for you. Contact us for more details! ReActivate is a course that contains both an academic review & in-water review. You can complete the academic portion on your favorite Apple or Android tablet or a home computer.
Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.
Dive On It SCUBA sells and services a variety of Technical Diving Equipment from brands such as Apeks, Hollis, Hollis Rebreathers and OMS. My fiancé and I received our open water certification at Dive On It. We called numerous other shops in the region and found this one to be the most welcoming. Our initial perception was only reinforced when we met Allison (the owner) on our first day of class. She ensured we would complete our certification before our honeymoon and answered all our questions. Our instructor Dave was so patient and helped us feel comfortable in the water. We would recommend Dive On It to any new diver. They run a great operation with truly special people.

If you plan to bring your face into the water with you, I would recommend that you don't buy your stuff online. I did that and I ended up having to buy a new mask in the dive shop where I could actually try it on my actual face.
Allison is wonderful, as is everyone there. Great value for a SCUBA certification. Rob Pelletier and Dan were very patient and gracious.  There wasn't nap time, but they feed you dinner. A++

Amazing place! Great people! Good times! Allison, Mike, Dan, and Dan are all very knowledgeable in all things scuba. I called a couple other places and wasn't impressed at all but when I spoke to Allison for a few minutes I knew this was where I would begin my scuba training and adventure. Mike and Dan are great instructors and very attentive. Couldn't ask for a better experience from general info to training to purchasing gear or just a good chat! If you are looking for a shop, then look no further, Dive On It Scuba is the one!

A truly great scuba shop. I went there to get a CPR and O2 Cert, and the staff was very welcoming, and knowledgeable, as well as providing dinner for the class. That level of hospitality is something that I've yet to see elsewhere. They are amazing! If I lived in the area, I'd go to them, to the exclusion of all other shops.

I started shopping here again after a bad experience, because this place got sold and is under new management. I went diving with Allison, and she is a great instructor. They keep lots of cool toys in stock and have good pricing. I'm happy to have another good local option; I like to support local businesses.

I scheduled a trip for my son and husband, who were certified last year, to scuba dive in the RI area. Alison was excellent at getting back to me by phone and making sure we were set to go when we arrived. Mike, the dive guide, was a 10 STAR kinda guide. He was patient and agreeable and overall a pleasure to hang around. They did 4 dives in two days. The first day, they dove in Jamestown RI it was cold so my husband and son called off the second dive of the day. We were not reimbursed which I was not expecting but it was ok and now we will know for future dive trips. One think to note is that we

Chris and Alison are excellent owners and great people. Took my family of 4 to get certified and it was the best experience. True professionals and Mike the instructor also with Dan just knocked it out of the park. They made the experience fun and enjoyable. With new ownership, this shop can only get better! Allison and Chris are two of the best instructors in the business. They were incredibly helpful in getting my wife and I through our open water certification, and their expertise is second to none!
The issues I had in the past with the shop (no communication on orders, delays in getting gear serviced) should be behind them with the new ownership.

There's a reason why they're one of the top dive stores in the area. Unfortunately there are irrational people in the world who feel like the world revolves around them and cry when things don't go their way, or when they make mistakes and expect a business to pay for them. Wish I had read Ray's review before purchasing a dive mask at dive on it scuba. We had almost the same experience except We paid in cash and Matthew refuses to refund our money. He NEVER returned our phone calls or emails and only informed is the mask was in when I put a negative review on his Facebook page. We ordered the mask July 8th and he informed us the mask was in on sept 24. Said it would take 2-3 weeks; after 5 weeks, we called yet again and wife actually picked up the phone. Matt & Jerika run a class A dive shop. I was very impressed with the director of training. The store is clean and very well stocked with the latest equipment from the most popular manufacturers. I am currently taking my Divemaster through Diveonit and couldn't be happier with my choice. You become a part of a family when you start diving with Diveonit, not just a customer and not just a source of profit. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable. If you're new to diving I would highly recommend coming here for your open water course, or if you are a seasoned diver, I would say this is the best dive shop around and is well worth the drive no matter where you're from!
