Family Resources
From a de-affiliation to a global pandemic, Family Resources weathered more challenges in 2020 than during many before, but we are proud to say we weathered each with grace, resilience, and perseverance. In many ways, we found ourselves invited to practice what we preach and follow in the footsteps of our clients who overcome insurmountable challenges on a daily basis.

And we made it through, due largely to the perseverance of our people and the support of our community. We are still here for the people we serve, for the communities we strengthen, and for the sake of supporting successful lives. And we will continue to be here, for many years to come, by continuing to translate our committed sense of purpose to a determined sense of perseverance.
Services
We all experience periods of stress, grief, anxiety, and depression. However, when those feelings are prolonged, intense, and nothing you do seems to help, it might be time to see a professional. We provide quality services to all members of the Quad City area regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or social economic status.
An important sign of strength in a community is the way it cares for the most vulnerable in its midst, and it is in this same spirit that Family Resources cares for, serves, and supports the children in our Foster Group Care program. The children in these programs are survivors. They are resilient.
Family Resources is a member of the Iowa Aftercare Services Network (IASN) which provides voluntary services and support to young people ages 18-21 who have aged out of foster care or other court-ordered placement. Aftercare services guide young people toward stability and self-sufficiency in six key areas: education, employment, housing, health, life skills, and relationships.
Family Resources offers licensing and support to prospective and current foster and adoptive families. Did you know that in the United States there are more than 400,000 youth in foster care at any given moment?. To learn more about how to improve a child's life through foster or adoption, please visit iowafosterandadoption.org.
The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) was passed in 2003 with unanimous support from both parties in Congress. The purpose of the act was to "provide for the analysis of the incidence and effects of prison rape in Federal, State, and local institutions and to provide information, resources, and recommendations and funding to protect individuals from prison rape."

NOT PROFESSIONAL. THEY PUSH THEIR WORLDLY VIEWS ON YOU. THEY HAVE A COUNSELOR WHO IS FOR THE COVID VACCINE ((TO EACH THEIR OWN)) AND MY MOM SAID SHE WOULD NEVER GET IT. MY MOM JUST GOT HER 2ND DOSE OF PFIZER BECAUSE HER COUNSELOR TOLD HER IT DIDNT MATTER WHICH ONE SHE GOT AS LONG AS SHE GOT ONE.
AND NOW THINGS SHE KNEW VERY WELL SHE DOESNT. SHE FORGETS THAT HER DINNER PLATE IS HER DINNER PLATE. SHE FORGETS WHERE THE PRINTERS ARE AT THE LIBRARY THAT SHE HAS GONE TO FOR YEARS AND KNOWS VERY WELL. She is forgetting soany details about numerous things and she never had this problem before the vaccine

Their office is closed. Google won't let me update it.
Just a phone number that redirects me to someone else.

From the time I met one particular young man to now, I see a huge difference. I notice his attitude being much more positive as well as his acceptance of things and situations he can or cannot change. I met 2 staff members yesterday and they seemed very respectful. I worked for a Doctor in Cedar Rapids that dealt with behavioral as well as developmental adolescence and I would feel privileged to be employed with Family Resources.

Not a safe place for children my brother was molested there. The staff never have any idea whats going on and blame my brother for their own negligence. This place is a complete joke.
