We are considered essential and are open and operating regular hours. All of our technicians are assigned to their own vans and are required to sanitize their van at the end of each day. They will all continue to wear gloves, masks and booties while servicing your home. If you have any further requests please note them to our office staff over the phone, or in your online appointment request.
Our technician's and customer's safety are our number one priority. A chimney liner is like the exhaust on your vehicle if it does not function properly or there isn't one you and your family would inhale toxic fumes. Your chimney liner does the same thing so it needs to be free and clear of any blockages, as well as structurally sound to ensure all fumes and toxic gases exit your home properly.

Keep that chimney clean and clear of debris. The leading factor contributing to home heating fires (25%) was failure to clean, principally creosote from solid-fueled heating equipment, primarily chimneys. Excerpt from National Fire Protection Association. Minimize the risk of fires started in your chimney, schedule your Chimney Inspection & Cleaning early!
Keep your chimney well maintained, or your heating system will be much less efficient or potentially hazardous. Chimneys are an integral part of your heating system and require regular maintenance and repair. Many different kinds of animals will take up residence in your chimney: raccoons, rodents, squirrels, birds and more.
First and foremost- INSURANCE All chimney sweep companies should have a minimum of a 1 million dollar liability policy as well as an umbrella policy, full workers compensation and auto. As hard as we try to avoid accidents, they do happen. So in order to protect your investment ask to see a binder and confirm with the insurance company if necessary.
Ultimate Chimney sweep has been servicing Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 1993. We are a family owned and operated full service chimney company specializing in all aspects of chimney cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. Hear what our customers have to say about our work! Jeff initially came out to inspect our chimney and found that there were drafting issues that were pretty unsafe.
A flue is a venting system, each system needs its own so If you heat your home with oil or gas and have a fireplace you would have two flues. Often times they are in one chimney so if you were to look down the chimney it would be separated into two venting system inside one chimney. That question really depends on how often you burn, what you burn and how you burn.

They came to sweep our chimney and then left us with a $25,000 estimate of repair work that needed to be done as soon as possible lest our house burn down. I had another person come out and give me an estimate and they quoted just over $2000. When I called ultimate chimney sweep they would not call me back nor explain the charges and when I let them know about the other quote they hurried to get me off the phone with no explanation whatsoever.

Absolute top notch service. Hired them for an inspection of the chimney flues; the technician was very courteous and professional, gave a detailed explanation of what they look for and showed pics on his device of the points of concern he found. We ended up needing repairs on the furnace flue. He was able to come back same-day and get the job done efficiently and properly. I looked up the average cost later just for the sake of thoroughness, and their prices were well below the high end for the services provided. Definitely would recommend them to anyone that needs service done on their chimneys

I had 2 stainless liners put in and masonry work done a couple years back with inspections and liner cleanings . Large job. We just bought the house, a pellet and wood stove. I cleaned the pellet stove before they came but noticed a $199 pellet stove cleaning charge on the bill later in time.
I wish I had noticed sooner. It was around $6k worth of work and materials which I still have a hard time justifying. The guys who showed up were young. One was probably in training. The masonry work was ok, nothing special, the liners alone were about $3k which seems high for these materials. It's really
