One I like to support my local small businesses and two, I find they are usually a much better value. But I have never been treated as well, or received as good as a value as I experienced at 56th street tires. A bunch of hardworking great guys. Great deals too! Fantastic experience here. Got a quote via Yelp, brought it to the shop and they honored the price.

My husband took my car in to replace a tire with a slow leak and next our list was an expensive repair at another shop because we were told I had suspension issues, but Marcos at 56Street Tires looked at it, they told my husband it was a damaged tire that was causing the wobble when I drive. This saved us a couple hundred dollars we didn’t have! Matter of fact, we only had about 80 dollars to replace a tire, but they replaced both with 2 good used tires and balanced it for the money we had. They’re lifesavers! I’m so grateful for they’re kindness especially during this pandemic where money

These guys are the best in town. I use them every time I have a need. Today I was low on funds and worried I could not get a quality tire. They took care of me at a price I could afford and in record time. I just pulled up, explained my situation and that I was unemployed and on a budget. They hooked me up to keep me on the road which will allow me to make it to my first day of my new job in 2 days. Incredible service and empathy. Luis G is the man you wanna see if you need tires in the South Sound. I didn't catch the name of the other gentleman who worked on my Chevy HHR but he was fast and professional

I had a tire that popped, went in and they gave me a new one just for it to pop again next day. They said they would give me another for free since it popped for no reason but they didn't. Then when they gave me the new one it had a tear in it that most likely would have popped the next day also. They were hesitant to replace it also because it "wasn't" leaking air. They obviously want you to just keep coming back for that $$$. Not coming back after this.

My father was extremely frustrated over the fact there was a nail in one of his wheels, which I suggested him to check this place out. When we got here, we didn’t have to wait long. They replaced his tire cheaply and efficiently without any problems + greeted my father with courteous service. Thus, my father was completely satisfied and relieved + mentioned he would definitely come back again. Thank you very much for supporting my father and making his day easier! Y’all were cool. :]

I was a little suspicious of this place at first, but I needed my tires rotated and it was the only one open today. They were very friendly and I was the only person there so the whole crew got working on my car while I stayed in it and I was out in ten minutes. When I went into pay they were very kind and respectful and I only paid 20 bucks which is a great price! I will be recommending this place to my friends!

My husband got a flat on his way to a job training in Tacoma. A tow picked him up and took the car to Les Schwab but they turned him away because they didn't have our type of tires on hand (BMX X5). The tow driver kindly took him to a second spot - 56 Street Tires and said something along the lines of "If they can't help you here, your screwed because I'm not taking you anywhere else" lol Thank goodness 56 Street Tires were able to patch the tire up and the patching job is so good, he's going on day 3 of driving with the patched tire and it's still holding strong

Negative stars if I could. I posted multiple pictures. But it's only showing 1. Absolutely DO NOT GO TO 56th Street Tires in Tacoma, WA. I have brought 2 vehicles to them and both times one of my wheels have flew off! The first time they apologized and said they fired the worker. I go to them again and they reassured me everything will be fine. Well that certainly was not the case! A few days ago I was driving and my whole tire just flew off right in front of me, my damaging my baby! They advertise all over the web that they are home of the $18 used tire. They don't answer their phone even though when I show up two people in the office are doing nothing. They go find us a used tire and tell us its $89+ install. huh what happened to the $18? The guy tried to,tell me that the tires start at $18 and go up from there except no where on there website, their CR and offer up ads do they state this. I found a used tire in my size down on steel street for $45 installed. Don't even bother with this place.

Needed 4 new tires for my Subi and planned to get 3 quotes, Les Schwab, 56 Street Tires, and Costco. Ended up getting them at 56 Street Tires at almost half the price as Les Schwab. Kerry and John were incredibly helpful and had them on in 40 mins even on a crazy busy Saturday! Overheard another customer say he had driven down from Sea-Tac. Amazing customer service and I'll never go anywhere else or recommend anyone go anywhere else. Thanks, guys, keep it up and great to have you as a local Tacoma business!
