We are a volunteer-powered nonprofit working together to make Orange County a better place to be a bicyclist. We do this is by helping bicyclists fix their own bikes, teaching bike repair, maintenance, and other bike-related subjects in our classes, advocating locally for bike-friendly infrastructure, donating bikes to those in need, a variety of fun activities including group rides, and our Wrench & Ride bike education program.
Find out more! Our shop carries a range of quality secondhand bikes and new and used bike parts and accessories and gear. All proceeds fund our programs and advocacy work! Find out more about visiting our shop. Our volunteer mechanics are on site to help you with as much help as you need to fix up your bike.

Services
The Bicycle Tree is a place to fix up bikes. Our friendly and knowledgeable volunteer mechanics are on site to help guide you through every kind of bike repair, from simple bike maintenance to complicated bike overhauls involving specialized tools. Developing bike repair and maintenance skills will not only make your bike safer and save you money, it'll help you become a more empowered and confident cyclist.
To equitably support bicyclists and create healthy bicycle-friendly communities through activities, advocacy, and education. People of all kinds ride bikes. Cycling can be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, language, skin color, belief system, or income level. We will work to make our shop space welcoming, inclusive, and helpful to as wide a variety of people as we can.
The Bicycle Tree initially began through the efforts of a number of volunteers who met while preparing and serving food for the homeless in Anaheim. Hector Madrigal-Ramirez, Gina Marzolo, and Paul Nagel were primary among those who started the organization. Workshops were held on the driveway there every Saturday.
In a lot of ways, we're similar to an ordinary bike shop. We carry a quality selection of new bike gear and accessories. Unlike your ordinary bike shop, however, we also carry a large range of quality secondhand bikes, bike parts, and bike accessories. Our range of used bikes, parts, and accessories mean you typically can get the things you need to keep your bike rolling along for less than you'd spend at an ordinary bike store.
Our friendly volunteer mechanics are on site four days a week to help you fix up your bike. We'll give you as much help as you need to help you fix your own bike. You can use our complete set of bike tools to perform almost any repair. We have a wide array of quality secondhand parts in stock. This means that repairs at our shop are almost always significantly cheaper than they would be at an ordinary bike shop.

Great experience! This is a great shop to fix and buy a bike. They help you fix your own bike. I spent about an hour learning and fixing my bike. The workers were really helpful and patient. Most of them are volunteers. They do great stuff here like giving away bikes for kids that complete a class. Prices are fair for repairs: pay for materials and $10/hr while you work.

These folks are the best! Friendly staff who walk you through everything your bike needs, the causes, the fixes, and without making up extra excuses to charge you more. They spent almost an hour with me and fixed many issues of my bike! Ultimately I was charged sub 10 dollars and learned so much about my own bike. For any future biking inquiries, I would only go to this place!

Came across this gem of a shop on google when looking for a used bike for my son to use on his college campus. The employees were so responsive to what he was looking for, they were not at all interested in up-selling him, and they went above and beyond to make sure the bike he picked out was comfortable and safe for his needs. We 100% recommend the Bicycle Tree and encourage everyone to check them out first before going to any other bike shop!

Love my EMOJO RAM Sport E-Bike. Took it out for a ride. It was great, so much fun. 20 mph, 30 miles on a single charge (4 to 6 hours to charge). 20 x 4 in. Tires. 11 mile ride to Newport Beach / Huntington Beach from Santa Ana Ca. using the Santa Ana river Bike trail. Stoped by the Bicycle Tree in Santa Ana and got my tire tubes filled up with commercial grade tire sealant for $10 for all small hole stickers. Which I had already got 2?and that's why I went there. Great place. Plus got some chain lube, patch kits, co2 to inflate the tires and a pump for a great price as well so I'm prepared

Got a frame, derailleur and cable stop for a wonderfully low price. Frame fits my needs exactly and the staff were super helpful and answered all my questions (which I had a lot of). Cannot recommend this place enough. They were totally willing to work with me to find a frame that fit my needs and size.

I highly recommend this place. The staff are extremely patient, knowledgeable about bikes and fixing them, and extremely kind. Their repair rates are the best I've seen around. Adjusted my bike's rear wheel, adjusted the derailleurs and brakes, and even lubed the chain.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants their bikes to repaired. Though this repair service may not be permanent, as it is apparently a temporary thing due to covid.

These guys are awesome super helpful. I've only came here once to see what they were about and I am already impressed. They have a lot of people donate bikes here and you can buy the used bikes, they'll even repair it for you for a charge. Good to have a nonprofit like this around. They sell bike parts and accessories as well.

What a gem this place is. Been here a few times to buy parts for our bikes and once for wheel replacement. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is just exceptional. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. As this is a non-profit organization, don't expect to find high-end equipment here. They do offer great alternatives that does the trick for a fraction of the cost. If looking for used bikes, they also sell some here. Visit this place and you'll see what a find it is.

This bike I put together myself but there were a couple issues w/ the bike that I needed to take it to the professionals. They were awesome, did a great job, fixed some things I planned to do when I got it back but did it for me & made it perfect. They were so nice, efficient, great at what they do & quick. Thank you so much!

I had been sent to The Bicycle Tree in Santa Ana, CA by the Salvation Army. I, Vincent (Spanish), was looking around the store on Saturday October 5th, 2019. Five minutes before the store was about to close I found a bike that I believed was perfect for me, a Jamis Eureka. I asked Paul and Mark if they would hold it for me, they both said yes and wrote a note to place on the bike. Another worker, Vince (Asian), saw the bike and yelled out, "Hey, that bike is worth $3,000.00!"
Paul, and Mark, promised me the bike and asked for me to come back the next day Sunday at 1:00pm. I told them

My GF and I knew nothing about bikes but wanted to get back into the sport as adults. Vincent was AMAZING! He took his time to explain about the different sorts, bits and cool facts of the bikes we were eyeing, and helped us pick out the PERFECT pair. I am now a proud owner of a light blue vintage Schwinn Le Tour AKA "Tita" La Tour, and my GF owns a sweet silver Raleigh bike. Hoping to pop into the bike maintenance 101 sessions to get even more acquainted with our new "babies" too!
What a great non-profit doing fabulous things for the community!
