Heat pump does make some sort of noise while operating and it is considered normal. However, if you hear any strange noises while the heat pump is running, then it means that the device needs a check. These strange noise include whistling, sound that comes when two metal touch together, noises in the air duct, noise when motor is running.

My AC went out on us this past Sunday. Walt came out and explained what it would cost to get my old system running again. I explained that I was actually in the market for a full replacement and he set me up with an appointment Tuesday for the install. He didn't charge me for the emergency, Sunday service call.
I had gotten some quotes from a few other contractors(one of them a very prominent one here in central Florida) and he beat their prices by about $1,300.
His crew arrived Tuesday morning and had the entire system installed in a little over 3 hours. They are fast, efficient and made sure
