City Springs Theatre Company is committed to serving the next generation of artists through high quality arts education experiences, exposure, and excellence. Whether it's a child's first experience of live theatre, advanced skill-based vocal training, or a beginning musical theatre dance master class, more than 65,000 students have been impacted through our diverse array of programming.
The Junior Theatre Festival is a nationally known competition held right here in Atlanta GA for middle AND high school students to compete with a 15 minute version of a Broadway Junior musical, for adjudication by a panel of musical theatre experts. Some weeks may not require this full amount of time and some weeks will, but we do ask that you please block of that chunk of time.
In 2018, after just two performances in the inaugural season, City Springs Theatre Company recognized the need for a CONSERVATORY to provide training for young people in the performing arts. One that would welcome a new generation to the joys of singing, dancing, acting, and technical theatre, while offering a challenging musical theatre repertoire for young professionals looking to enhance their technique.
CST Conservatory takes students step-by-step as you prepare for your Musical Theatre College Auditions. Led by a team of professionals, students will work this summer to begin to plan for their college auditions by exploring material, college options, and practicing their auditions.
College professionals from University of Michigan, Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Texas State University, Wright State University, University of Alabama, and more will share their advice and provide feedback throughout the week.Following the intensive and included in the tuition, students will be required to do routine "check-ins" with our faculty to ensure materials are progressing.
