Excellent food and friendly service. We ordered a meal delivery and everything was delicious. From the tritip to the crab cakes to the mashed potatoes. My husband even managed to love the kale salad. I'm sure they are awesome for catering an event too.

Jeff and his team provided us a wonderful backyard post-wedding brunch! Really couldn’t have asked for a better and more friendly and professional crew. Sunny's catered a dinner for 10 I hosted at a private home in Santa Cruz and it was first class all the way. The food and service were both excellent. They accommodated various dietary restrictions for some of the guests and were easy to work with to plan the menu and logistics.

I booked Sunny's at the last minute to cater a Saturday dinner for 20 to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. They were really easy to work with, their price was fair, and everyone raved about the food! FYI, my daughter is traveling to Greece so I wanted a Mediterranean menu and they were super accommodating. Except for a chicken entree, all the dishes were vegetarian. I hope I need catering again soon because I liked working with them so much!

We held a 10 year anniversary party/vow renewal at the MAH in Santa Cruz, and Josh at Sunny's helped us work out all of the details. He and his crew were SO easy to work with, it made the catering a no-brainer. Food was fresh, yummy and easy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Josh was responsive and accommodating. What else do you need?

Sunny's did our families' rehearsal dinner a few nights ago. The food was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. Service couldn't have been better. Joshua and Jeff are pros. We need to find a reason for another party, so we can call on them again!

Absolutely wonderful! Joshua and Jeff recently catered my husband's birthday celebration at our house. They did a fantastic job for us, from beginning to end. Joshua worked with us to create a menu, which we sampled beforehand, at a private tasting at their kitchen in downtown Santa Cruz. Jeff prepared the food for us and led the catering team on the day of the party. Food was in a word...scrumptious. Team was friendly, efficient, and attentive while being unobtrusive. This is the company to hire if you want a catering service that provides fabulous food and terrific service.

Only positive things to say about this catering company! The Theta Xi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta chose to have our Founder's Day brunch catered by Sunny's Catering & we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, so much so that a lot of our ladies took leftovers home. Jeff and Joshua were both very attentive, refilling the food trays as some foods became scarce and didn't miss a single detail. We loved working with them and we are looking forward to working with them again in the future!

Fantastic ! Fantastic ! Fantastic. I just attended a three day event that was catered by this company and the food was hot, abundant and served immediately. They really go out of their way to make a great tasting meal. Each day had a variety of meats, salads and pasta/rice dishes and it was perfectly prepared and actually made the symposium I attended worthwhile.

I can't rave enough about the service and perfect menu. I'm from the Bay Area and if I could get them to drive there for my next party I'd definitely pay for it.

Sunny's Catering (Joshua, Jeff and Cybil) worked a luau party for us and they were the BEST! I "introduced" them to my kitchen and from that point on, they handled everything! I actually got to enjoy the party. When the party was over my kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived.

They worked hand in hand with Pono Grill who provided the food. It was Labor Day weekend and they picked up the food downtown, navigated the holiday traffic and got to us in south county exactly when they were expected. Locals know, that's a bigger accomplishment than it might sound!

I have never seen someone put in so much effort into her dishes, even to the tiniest detail. For example, she refuses to use store bought lemon juice and instead will juice the lemons herself. She attempts to make everything truly a work of art and she challenges herself to provide the best experience at every event she caters at.

I recently had Sunny cater my wedding. WOW! She was fantastic. Beyond her delicious food, Sunny was almost like a wedding planner for us! We got married at the La Selva Club House and had no idea what we were doing at all, Sunny took the time to meet with us at the Club House and discuss extra things we needed, like chairs, lighting, etc. She's a true veteran of the area and e-mailed me examples of cute decoration ideas she's seen at the venue before.

Sunny catered our wedding in August 2013 at the Sesnon House (170 person wedding). I thought her food was really some of the best tasting catered wedding food I've ever had, having worked as a wedding caterer in the past myself. What I liked about her food was that it was sort of simple and fresh, and everything tasted really homemade.

We loved her pan fried chicken and her salad is fantastic - really fresh ingredients, not overly salty or greasy like some other wedding food can be.

Sunny's Catering is probably the best catering outfit in the entire Santa Cruz area. The presentation is literally amazing, with intricate food carving sculptures and edibles. I've had the pleasure of eating the food on several occasions and the food is fantastic.

I'd definitely recommend them if you're looking for a caterer in Santa Cruz area (or the entire SF Bay area for that matter) for a wedding, banquet or event, I'd highly recommend them.
