We recommend that you call a day in advance but please feel free to call last minute and we'll do our best to accommodate you. To reserve your service we ask for a credit card number to hold the appointment. This will be taken at the time the appointment is booked. If under the age of 18 you will need a guardian to sign a permission slip.
Deeper than our Swedish Massage, this therapy helps to relieve chronic pain and areas of muscle soreness. Our Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone Therapies blended in perfect harmony to provide unparalleled results. These therapeutic techniques use warm or cold stones to help release stress and decrease muscle tension.
Our facial treatments use the Dermalogica Professional Skin Care Line, Yonka or our Organic product line. There are a variety of options to choose from, and you may also ask our qualified staff for a recommendation based on your unique skin type. A Blend of Hydroxy Acids, Peptides and Natural fruit enzymes remove dulling surface debris to reveal a fresher looking healthier new layer of skin.

I have been coming here for a while, and there’s nothing like it!! Staff is friendly, professional and listen to what you would like. Not to mention it is so clean everywhere you look. Today, there was a mix up with a gift certificate I was using, and they handled it with the upmost professionalism. Recommend for any spa treatment, you can’t go wrong!!

I was referred here by my sister. I was going for a birthday massage. When I first walked in I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who brought me into a beautiful waiting room. There were snacks, water and tea available. I was soon brought into the room. I had Sully as my MT. She was MAGNIFICENT! Made me feel so comfortable and her hands were strong! It was the best money ever spent! I can't wait to go see her again!

I booked a 45 min Swedish massage online, and got Jason. Can I just say?? Un-flippin'-believable!! The pressure he used was on point, the speed was slow and steady. I rarely do this, but I went ahead and booked another session with him when I checked out. I couldn't wait to get back to see him again.

Went for a pedicure with my mom and had wonderful, conscientious technicians! Extremely thorough and gentle during the pedicure, with gorgeous results. They cleaned every tool, bottle, and surface they touched, used sealed, sterile tools for each client, and even cleaned the bottles and brushes of each nail polish bottle! I highly recommend them!

*RASH for a week, BEWARE!*
Where my review begins is the day following my Couples Massage. During the middle of the work day come Monday, I noticed my back felt strangely bumpy. Upon arriving home, it was the first thing I did to investigate and find my entire back was covered in small, red, & raised bumps! I immediately hopped in the shower to wash with a mild soap and spend the rest of the evening relaxing, in hopes that it was just a reaction that would subside by the morning. However, that was NOT the case, and not only did I wake up with the rash still there, it was now on my entire chest

Very frustrating that I am absolutely never able to get an appointment here. I've called many times in the past and they never have any times or days available that I have wanted to book. I've also tried to book online and they never have anything available. Very disappointed that today I called again because my friend has an appointment for a manicure and pedicure this evening, even though it is last minute which I understand, I cannot even get a simple manicure with her. I'll probably never even bother to try again since this is the 4th or 5th time now.

Love this place!!!!! My husband and I go as often as possible to get massages!! Never had a bad massage and always enjoy the atmosphere!
I never had a problem booking an appointment, and was always accommodated if there were any changes I needed to make.
Usually, monthly emails annoy me, but I refuse to resign from their email list because they always send out offers and discounts!!!
Strongly recommended going here for a nice relaxing day full of massages and even great pedicures!

Excellent pedicures by Ms Sheryn! They use tin basins instead of sinks, which is much more sanitary. The scrubs and lotions are phenomenal, with a wide selection of scents to suit your preferences.
The pedicure and manicure room is very quiet and relaxing. There is a nice fireplace, the furniture is very comfortable, and the whole environment is very soothing. Definitely coming back for more spa services!

I've been to A Moment Away I've been to both the Southington and Plaineville locations for very enjoyable massages. Today, however, I was extremely disappointed with the overpriced and underwhelming pedicure. I was looking forward to a massage chair and getting a good foot and leg rub. Unfortunately, the massage chair seemed to be on it's last leg- the buttons didn't work well and I could feel little more than a vibration. The specialist was nice, but did nothing more than gently cover my legs in scented lotion and paint my toenails. I'll stick with Natural Spa and Nail

I have been annoyed with my services at other places that I have been getting manicure and pedicures. I am completely rushed, my polish chips and I am really not getting any value from it.
I decided to splurge and book an appointment at a spa. A Moment Away was open on a Monday, which is not typical for a spa.
I enjoyed the special touches throughout my services. Warming mitts for my manicure and the pedicure was awesome. I added a callus treatment.
The service was so relaxing, I think I feel asleep.

This place was amazing. I booked (months in advance) a bachelorette party here for a group of 9 and planning it from beginning to end was a breeze. Heather was incredible with communicating with me and making sure the spa party went smoothly. They were able to accommodate everyone's different choices of services and put together the schedule for you. As far as the services, they were wonderful and so relaxing. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed our mani/pedis, facials and massages. If I lived in the area, I would definitely try to come here again. Overall, this spa was fantastic.

Really great pedicure. I felt completely relaxed and at ease the entire time. I was given a warm wrap for my neck, a cranberry spritzer, my choice of plush leather seats in a temperate room and an assortment of high quality products were used. There is no nail salon smell, the environment is calm and lovely and the staff is accommodating.
I did the extended pedicure which includes a massage for your lower legs and feet. To begin, my feet were placed in a metal basin which was then filled with hot water. It felt very spa-like. The sugar scrub that was used smelled amazing and I had my choice

First of all, I do want to say that A Moment Away was very accommodating of my absolute-last-minute-and-in-the-snow appointment. The ambiance was beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars (A-OK) vs 2 stars (Meh. I've had better.)
Having said that. I schedule a 60 min massage and a pedicure. In the massage therapist's defense, she simply may not have been my style. I don't know if there is such a thing, but she was so nice that I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt. I could tell from the first 10 seconds that it was no good. I
