First time customer and I was not disappointed. This was the best cake ever and a hit at the party. It was stunning to look at and the favor (I asked the employee taking my order for suggestions on favor and it was incredible - a raspberry swirl layered with Bavarian creme filling) was wonderful and incredibly moist. You have definitely earned a few customers from guests at the party.

Thank you to A Special Touch - Cakes by Carolynn for making my daughter’s birthday cakes for her 30th birthday party at St. Pete’s Beach ! They were patient and extremely accommodating and the cakes were delicious ! I ordered the mango with coconut cream filling (amazing) and pina colada with pineapple filling which was incredible ! The cakes were beautiful (I gave them a picture and it looked exactly like the picture) and they were yummy ! I highly recommend getting a cake here for any occasion ! I will always get a cake from this bakery every time I come just to try all of the unique flavors

My wife and I got our beach themed wedding cake done by Cakes By Carolynn and it was absolutely delicious and perfect! My wife provided inspiration pictures and they were able to provide us the cake we wanted that exceeded all our expectations. My wife even created a little "Mr. & Mrs." sign that they were able to add to the cake. Thank you so much for adding that perfect touch to our wedding!

I love when a customer orders for "years and years" then 1 bad batch leaves them giving a 1 star review.
This was the single best cake I have ever had in my life. I have eaten cake at restaurants from hole in the walls to well known and expensive. I don't even usually especially like cake. But this stuff had me wanting more. And the lady who hand delivered it was so friendly and genuine. Will definitely be coming back.

They must have changed the quality of ingredients for cheap ones or have new people who aren’t very good at making cakes. I have ordered from them for years & years (almond cake with raspberry filling which is a pretty easy straightforward cake). However, last time I ordered myself & entire family were deeply disappointed as we never expected it to be so bad. The cake tasted NOTHING like the usual & was SOOOO DRY (as if they made it with many days ahead of just cheap ingredients). Not sure what their problem is these days but won’t be ordering again sadly. Last but not least, unfortunately

My daughter recently had a nice small wedding at the beach. I found Cakes By Carolyn on the web and sight unseen, called to order a wedding cake. They were very helpful and we ended up with a Sunshine Orange with Bavarian Chocolate filling in the center. Everyone said it was the best wedding cake they have ever tasted! Cake arrived on time and their staff put our fresh flowers on the cake. I highly recommend this company. They have endless styles and lots of flavor combinations to create any taste you desire. This was perfect to go with our Caribbean dinner.

Great experience working with Cakes by Carolynn! Our wedding was at The Postcard Inn on St. Pete’s Beach on March 23rd. Our cake was absolutely delicious and it was beautiful. Being out of state it was hard to plan some things, but they did it exactly how I pictured it. My husband loved the cake and he’s not a big sweets person. Definitely says something!

I placed my order and left the design up to Jill who is the decorator. She did a beautiful job on the cake for my neice's wedding shower. it was pina colada cake with pineapple filling and coconut cream frosting Delish!!! It was ready early too! I would highly recommend Cakes by Carolynn to anyone who needs a tasty cake that is beautiful too!
