Looking for other fun things to do in Table Rock area and the South Carolina mountains? Our South Carolina Mountain Cabins are in the middle of all the beautiful sites and sounds of the area. There are plenty of attractions and things to see nearby. Here we tried to include some of the most popular things to do and provide a bit about each.
Located in Pickens, South Carolina, Table Rock State Park is one of the unique attractions this area has to offer. With over 3,000 acres of land, the Table Rock State Park and nature conservatory was created with the Franklin D Roosevelt administration as part of the New Deal. The park is a great location for day-hikes.
The South Carolina Upstate has some of the most beautiful natural waterfalls in the Southeast. Twin Falls, located in Pickens County, boasts two beautiful waterfalls. If you are fortunate enough to go after a good rain, you can even see a third cascade to the right of the other two! Twin Falls is just a short drive and an easy 15 minute hike back into the Eastatoe Creek Gorge.

We stayed at Solitude Pointe in 2020 and loved it, so, we returned in 2021 and everything was just as great as it was the prior year. Rodney and Amy were fantastic hosts, the park was very well maintained, and the stay was great, totally uneventfull. We'll be back in 2022.

Judy and I had a great time at Solitude Pointe! A beautiful spot in mountains full of color and as quiet and peaceful as the name implies!
Great RV sites with concrete pads and nice little cabins too!
The staff was great, helped us back in and they have one of the best campground firewood bundles for the money anywhere!
You get enough dry, seasoned oak with pine kindling mixed in to build a nice fire!
Unlike the green, wet pine and poplar sold at most places!
A nice trail circles the campground as well
and a Trout stream to boot so they have it all! We'll be back again next year!
Thanks

We so enjoyed the peaceful stay at Solitude Point. It’s nestled in the mountains just below Caesar’s Head and along SC Highway 11, the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway. Very clean RV site. The owners were such pleasant and friendly host. Rodney was always busy greeting guest and ensuring the park was clean. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and talking with Rodney and Amy and taking an ice cream break. Traveler’s Rest SC and Hendersonville, NC are just minutes away. A great destination or a convenient stop on your route

I will absolutely stay here again! The cabin was spotless when we arrived, had everything we needed, and was really cozy and comfortable. Solitude Pointe is PERFECT for couples or small families who just want to escape into the mountains. The campground is tucked away off of Hwy 11 and the busy road up to Caesar's Head, so it's really quiet. It was so nice to hear crickets and frogs at night and birds in the morning rather than the sounds of the city we all get used to. It's close enough to Travelers Rest and Greenville that you're not too far from the action should you want other things to do

Solitude is an extremely well kept, cleaned, and landscaped campground in the South Carolina mountains. It is small and offers sites on a little stream in the woods. Although you are close to neighbors there are bushes and trees between sites. Close by is access to the Saluda River and the campground duck, Lucy. They have a nice playground and basketball court for kids. Very nearby are fantastic hiking opportunities with gorgeous overlooks to waterfalls or Blue Ridge Mountains. It's expensive but you get an excellent camp site. I recommend Solitude!

The owners at Solitude Pointe are beyond amazing! We had a back-in site, and the father-son duo helped guide us into the spot. Other campgrounds will point out your spot and then drive away, but how many actually volunteer to help you back into a tricky spot? It was one of those slick maneuvers where you have to jackknife the trailer into the spot due to the amount of trees between spaces. These guys made a typically stressful parking job feel like a piece of pie. I was so thankful to them! We were backed in perfectly in one try. I know I've spent a lot of time talking about parking, but anyone

Stayed here 3 nights in the Mountain cabin with my 14 year old son and his friend. Place was impeccably clean and had everything in the kitchen we needed to make of our meals. We paid extra for use of the hot tub and it was worth every cent. The best two-person hot tub I've ever used. What we liked best about Solitude Point was small community feel (only 8 cabins I think and no more than 20 RV sights). Everyone was friendly and you really got to relax without the crowds. Plus, it was so easy to get to great hiking spots and paddle boarding - Lake Joseccee being the best but get there

My family and I recently experienced a small house fire. We were in need of a place to stay, as our home was no longer inhabitable in its present condition. The people at Solitude Pointe gave us a small discount for a 5 night stay. The cabin was clean and fully equipped with everything one might need. They thought of every kitchen utinsel! The facility had a nice playground area and was overall quiet and peaceful. We were not sure if the common room in the lodge was available to use, as it was not offered. If you are looking for a very quiet, family oriented place to stay during your visit to this
