Advanced Body Solutions is a medical massage and manual therapy clinic that is locally and independently owned by massage therapists. For the past ten years we have been committed to providing body work that helps you achieve your personal wellness goals. Massage and manual therapy can help improve quality of life, especially when preformed in conjunction with other treatments.
Our therapists are trained in a wide variety of massage and manual therapy techniques. They include but are not limited to the techniques listed below. If you have any questions about a certain technique or therapist, please contact us at (907) 277-5525. ART Sessions are a combination of examination and treatment.
At your initial appointment you will be asked to complete our new patient paperwork. This provides us with your health/condition history as well as demographic and billing information. What can I expect at my 1st appointment? Our appointments range from 30-90 minutes. Insurance carriers will only cover 60 minutes of therapy.
Many medical insurance plans cover massage and manual therapy. This benefit is typically covered under either your chiropractic or rehabilitation/physical therapy benefits. Starting in 2015, the majority of insurance carriers have begun allowing massage therapists to bill for massage and manual therapy under their own licensure.

After my first pregnancy I had a severe back pain and it got even worse after my second pregnancy. I’ve been to many places. They were not bad but they did not fix me at all. Derek has been an amazing massage therapist! His technique is wonderful and very very effective. God bless him and his team. I strongly recommend him. I get deep tissue massage and he is wonderful at it.

My first time here. Nicole was recommended to me by my physical therapist. I have a frozen shoulder and my neck muscles are always tight, which causes me tension headaches. I started alternating physical therapy with massage therapy. My neck feels so much better. Nicole is wonderful. You do have to schedule in advance because she has a lot of clients. I would recommend this place.

As a writer, I spend way too much time sitting at my desk leaving me with lower back pain and tightness in my arms from typing. Additionally, after years of commuting to and from the valley, I get extremely uncomfortable sitting for the drive. The massage therapist could tell my problem areas immediately and was able to target those areas and give me relief. After the massage, unlike my normal uncomfortable drive home to the valley, I felt relaxed and zero pain in my back. Plus, it was the perfect way to relax and release stress the week before my wedding! I would highly recommend the talented

Advanced Body Solutions changed my life. I had been in a car accident and had to have shoulder surgery. I lost a large amount of range of motion and could no longer do some of the things that make living in Alaska so wonderful. I started getting active release therapy mixed in with other techniques and eventually the muscles were retrained to give me most of my range of motion back. While there, they also started fixing some other issues that I had never thought were "bad" enough to get looked at, but turned out to actually be bothering me... and now those issues are getting resolved too. Not enough 'Stars' to say how great this place is. I love the friendliness of the staff and the professionalism of the therapists. From helping streamline the billing for my insurance to ensuring my treatment is successful, this business knows how to make you a satisfied customer. They have treated not only me, but also my spouse and 2 of my children. After a serious ski accident, my son was treated and is back to keeping up with his friends. If it's a fine tuning or a serious injury, I would trust all the therapists at Advanced Body Solutions.

I used to be an athlete (many moons ago) and require some pretty serious maintenance now, particularly with minor 'mechanical' issues and muscle tightness etc. The amazing thing about ABS is the therapists ability to get to the heart of the problem, effectively and quickly, to understand, treat and resolve the issue. There's a great deal of diversity in treatment type, I know, I need a lot of work, but this is a place that has the ability to look after pretty much anybody, irrespective of the nature of the problem and treatment preference.
