It's been a little over two years since I had been in a spa or had a massage and I happened to have a very rare day off after starting a new job and REALLY wanted a massage.
I cruised YELP for places with good reviews and stumbled across Adagio, I called them up and they did not have any spots open for the same day (which is totally understandable) but she took my number in case there was an opening.
I received a text not long after saying they had a three PM open so I jumped on the opportunity.
I was warmly greeted when I arrived and everyone was masked and I felt very safe.

One of the best massages ever! ... only issues were that:
- we arrived 9 minutes late due to heavy snow. Called the spa ahead of time to let them know (about 10 min before appt time), and the lady at the desk said, "No problem, please drive safe."
- as soon as we walked in, we were asked to fill out a liability and health form. This ate up another 5-7 minutes or so.
- Ultimately, we got a 30min massage despite paying for 50-minutes.
- We were told this was to stay on schedule, as another couple was booked concurrent to us.
I asked about a refund and understandably, the masseuse cannot be punished

I was having a lot of neck and shoulder pain due to stress tension, I got an appointment within the timeframe I asked for and I felt so much better when I left. They were professional, gave me good advice, and listened to my preferences. I will definitely be back.

Liz was such an amazing therapist!! She was able to subdue my severe neck pain with one session. The water bed the have was such a wild and wonderful experience as well, literally felt like I was in the womb haha. The art was very inspiring too and all the candles where a wonderful soothing touch. The tea was incredible as well. Everyone all around was just the best. A truly wonders experience!

I had a wonderful hot stone massage and my wife had a really nice manicure. The Sheraton spa we wanted to use was closed and this was an excellent alternative. Highly recommended. Made us feel like we were the only ones there. It was nice to be pampered with professional treatments. Next time we are in Anchorage we will also return here.

I went for a 90 min hot stone massage and a back exfoliation. It was the best experience I’ve had so far! Everyone that works there was so nice and professional. Alissa did an amazing job and I feel reborn. If you haven’t yet definitely go treat yourself! I’ll be returning!

I booked massages at the spa on a recent trip. Call early to get a spot. Seems they are very popular. We had Eugene and Kelsey as our massage therapists. They were both so attentive, great massage, wonderful ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our pampering on an otherwise fairly stressful business trip. Spa is convenient to the Captain Cook Hotel and spotlessly clean. Well worth the $$. The staff is fun and very sweet.

Had a great experience here while on a trip to Anchorage. I had my first ever mud wrap! Would highly recommend this spa.
Worth mentioning you do have to take your shoes off and leave them in the front, so if you are weird about any fancy shoes you own, don't wear those! (Or, I'm sure you could take them with you if you really cared)

Love this place! Whenever I'm in town I make sure to spend several hours to relax and beautified.
I love the zero gravity bed. That shower is awesome after the body wrap. The facials are great. The massages by Eugene is outstanding. Reception ladies are fantastic as well. All and all a lovely place to be in and away from people. I love spending the whole afternoon here to detox and feel good. Love love love

This was my first time at Adagio and I am not a person who likes to be touched so this took some working up to for me. But the ladies at the Spa made me so comfortable that I was completely fine.
I had a wonderful experience and will definitely go again. If you're looking for a GREAT spa experience I recommend them enthusiastically!!!!

I want to update my review.
Today I had massage with Inna. And it was incredible. I still can hear voices behind the wall. But you know what it doesn't matter. The massage was so great and just right for me that I didn't even think about anything but my feelings.
So it's not about place it's all about who you work with.
I definitely will back here again and again.
And I want to say thank you to Anastasiya. She really cares about her customers.

Walking in I was greeted warmly, treated professionally and felt good about the two appointments I made with a gift certificate given to me. I was given a reminder call previous to the appointment and when I went it I was impressed because I had forgotten the gift card, and it was no big deal for them - they let me call in with the number after I managed to crawl home.
The massage - I had asked for DEEP TISSUE and a serious massage - I feel like a fluffy massage with no pressure is a waste of time.
