Here at Chakra Cosmetics our mission is to provide our clients the most realistic and natural results with permanent makeup. Sara is incredibly detail oriented, meticulous and will guide you towards the technique that she feels would yield the best outcome. She is AAM Board Certified with multiple specialty certifications and is continuously learning from industry leaders.
We offer scar camouflaging which allows you to camouflage the scar back into appearing as your normal skin tone. Placement plays a factor in how a tattoo my feel. Certain parts of the body can tolerate tattoo pain better than others and your own personal threshold has to be considered in that equation.
4. Do not soak tattoo in tub, sauna, Jaccuzi or go swimming while your new tattoo is healing. Your tattoo should heal in 14-20 days. Consult a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following redness at site, green/yellow discharge (foul smelling)and/or fever. Chakra Tattoos is the most welcoming environment I’ve ever been in to get a tattoo! Bryan was my tattoo artist and he made me feel comfortable the whole entire time and he is extremely talented! I have been going to Chakra Tattoos for over a year now and they continue to amaze me each time I go with their professionalism, relaxed environment, and the staff is amazing!! Each time I go they are attentive to me asking if I need water, food, breaks, etc.. not many shops really care for their clients or other artists but this shop has a family vibe in it! The artists all make their way around to their fellow artists complimenting each piece they do and giving advice to each other. Ive never seen a shop where you can tell they care about each other and their clients. This place gets 10 out of

Chakra Tattoos is the best place to get quality work done as i know for a fact in getting my tattoo there and getting it touched up. The staff is awesome and highly qualified and educated in their field. My daughter and i totally walked away satisfied and in awe of the work we had done. Had Jessica put this little seahorse on me and I love it! The whole experience was awesome. Easy to book, great attentiveness, Jess was incredible to have work on it, and everyone else there was just good people. The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a merchant. I waited months, put down a deposit and was hopeful that I would like the design sent to me. I finally received my design the day of my apt and it was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I understand doing a cover up is hard, but the artist did not even listen to anything I mentioned during our "5 min consult" -- when I told the "manager" Meghan that I wasn't happy with any of the designs given she advised it would still be a no call no show and I would lose my deposit. Chakra Tattoos has a great process for setting up tattoos. I emailed in to set up a consultation with the artist I requested and when we met, the process was painless. We sat down for somewhere like 30 minutes so that I could explain what I was looking for as well as her thoughts on the tattoo, placement, and ideas they had. They made a rough sketch of what I was interested in and then we part ways for about two months. A couple of days prior to my appointment, they sent me like a half dozen sketches based on my tattoo and we discussed those ideas before the appointment and at the appointment.

Chakra tattoos is the best tattoo parlor I've ever been to. The establishment is insanely clean and it has the best atmosphere. The artists there are incredible and personable. I worked with Ace twice and he has done such amazing work to cover up two tattoos that I greatly regretted. His work is insane! I could not have picked a better artist to do the work and I will love my tattoos forever. He really puts a lot of work into each piece and makes them your own. Each piece is uniquely mine and there are no others like it. So you will not go wrong going to Chakra tattoos. Highly recommended!

I finally got my horrible 6 year old tattoo covered up by Ace & all I can say is that it looks absolutely incredible. He had an idea in his head that he knew would work to cover it up and he really brought the idea to life. The shop is super clean, the staff is awesome, & overall I had a really amazing tattoo experience here. Ace is an incredible artist and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Two of my best friends had gotten tattooed at Chakra previously one being done by Ace. Both phenomenal pieces so naturally I got the itch and had to set something up. I'm a very passionate Disney fan and decided to get a sleeve done. I sent a dm/email and John got back to me within the hour. My experience with Chakra Tattoo was incredible! The shop was extremely clean and had such a good vibe. Everyone was super nice! Ace did such an amazing job with my tattoo. His line work is absolutely stunning. I'm extremely picky with my tattoos and specifically wanted someone who can do delicate lines. He amazed me with his work! He had The Office playing while he worked which was a huge plus!! Ace made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Never thought I'd be the type of person to get a tattoo, but after Running the New York City Marathon twice, I wanted a way to permanently commemorate my accomplishment. Smiley, the artist in residence, Was awesome from helping plan the design to the actual work. The tattoo looks great, and I couldn't be more pleased. Great brand new place at Matawan NJ. There is a lot of talent in this facility and it's only growing by the the day. Smiley and the crew are a great team. The place is spaciousness fully equipped. It's a very home feeling when you arrive and greeted. They focus on customer service and good work. Check their other platforms for images of the work they do (instagram, Facebook ect..)

My son wanted to get his first tattoo. I had read about Chakra opening on local Facebook groups, looked at their work online, and suggested he give it a try. Yesterday he went in for a consult, and immediately decided to go for it. Rizzi, the artist, looked at the pictures he brought and designed a beautiful tattoo combining a Celtic cross and the EMS star of life. From the stencil to the line work and the shading details, he came home with a great custom piece he loves. Rizzi did a great job, with no apparent skin trauma.

The place is set up perfectly . When I first stepped In Sara greeted me right away. I needed a consultation about a specific tattoo and I honestly was blown away from how informative Sara and Smiley was (sorry if i spelled it wrong) Broke down rates and the safest way to reach my desired tattoo. They also showed me how it would look on me via computer simulation.
