Ramon Moreno School of Ballet (RMSB) was founded in 2016 and is located in Palo Alto, California. RMSB specializes in the Cuban training style based on the Vaganova method, which is renowned for its athleticism, passion, and grace. The Cuban method has its origins in the Russian Vaganova style with influences from major schools of ballet - French, Italian, and Russian.
It emphasizes dancing with the entire body and promotes harmonious movement between arms, legs, and torso. The Cuban method combines high Russian extensions and jumps with intricate Italian footwork, French arm artistry, and British attention to detail. Of special importance is the emphasis in the work of the pas de deux, where the couple dances in tight synergy.

My 10-year-old daughter attended 9 dance/ballet schools in Bay Area since age 5 including regular school year class, summer intensive, summer class, summer camp, open class, etc. and we are happy to say that we have found RMSB a perfect school for my daughter. The teachers here focus on the techniques and the beauty of the ballet.
We did the trial classes at several schools in summer 2020, and I still remember that both my daughter and I were very frustrated that we couldn't find one that's challenging enough. However, after the trial class with Mr. Ramon at RMSB, we immediately decided to pay

My daughter joined Ramon's school 2 years ago after having attended classes at several other ballet schools. The school is a hidden gem as their students have all performed well no matter where they go, both as a dancer and as a human being. The school is rather low key which is probably why they do not show up in media and every magazine/newspaper. But if you visit their studio, I can assure you that you will instantly fall in love because the artistic director you talk with, Mr. Ramon, is the one who will be teaching your child. Mr. Ramon was a principal dancer who is now dedicated to helping
