We want you to be completely satisfied with our service, so please let us know how we're doing. Took my Rav-4 in for a minor leak (that I probably could and should have fixed myself), but I just didn't have the proper resources today (mostly a dry space, shop-vac and an air compressor).
They were super efficient and helpful and found the true source of the problem (in the sunroof drainage tray, while I'd convinced myself the source was in the A/C vents).And in the process I learned something new about my Rav-4 (always fun) and now have a place nearby that I can go for the heavy-duty jobs I can't manage on my own.

I went in with a quote from Audi dealer, suggesting me to fix water pump with "coolant leak" and "leaked" engine mount. Kevin's auto repair did thorough inspection and told me both issues suggested by Audi dealer was not true, and my audi A4 has nothing to be fixed, and not charge me a single dollar. The definition of honest mechanic shop!

This shop provides the best and most honest experience possible when dealing with car servicing. The mechanics know a lot about newer and more electronically complex cars, as well as the more traditional vehicles. They are honest, fair and skillful in their assessments and repairs. I truly wish I started coming here sooner.

Once again thank you to Kevin, Tony, and team for an outstanding job fixing my car's oil leak. I had three separate estimates all saying different items needed to be fixed. Kevin's Auto Repair is honest, efficient, reliable, and reasonably priced. It is so hard to find a mechanic that is all of those. The valve cover was fixed within one day and I even had spark plugs replaced since the area was accessible, saving me time and money from doing that separately. Highly recommend!

I hesitate to tell you all how good these guys are because I want to be sure I can get an appointment when I need one!
I've brought a vehicle in making brake noise and picked up the car later for $0 because they told me my brakes were fine.
I brought in an Audi A6 for brakes once and they completed to work for 1/2 of what the dealer was going to charge.
Super honest folks that do really solid work. Will always come here.

Kevin and Nick are professional and very knowledgeable. Great customer service and truly enjoyed my experience with them.
2013 Honda Pilot broke down on dumbarton bridge and used Kevin’s Auto Repair because of their great rating and close to home. Fixed my car and haven’t had any problems. 1 year later we took both of our cars for maintenance. I like them because they only address problems that needs to be fixed. No pressure for other services

I took my car in today to get a full brake fluid bleed and to get my AC recharged. I had initially received a higher quote over the phone when talking to someone at the shop, which was fine. When the services got done, my bill ended up being a lot less than expected. Not only were the services performed well but I was suprised that I got them done at such a reasonable cost. I will definitely be coming back to get my car serviced by Kevin and will be recommending them to my family.

I have been going to Kevin's Auto Repair for years and wanted to give a shout out to them. During the pandemic, they have been working since they are an essential service. They practice safe practices with social distancing and masking. Both the employees and clients are asked to wear masks, which is a good thing. They schedule appointments so there aren't a lot of people in the business at one time.
I got my oil changed and scheduled "B" maintenance for my 2015 Honda Fit. They were able to finish it in less than an hour. Their prices are fair and they use only US and European

I am consistently impressed with the quality of work, level of service and explanation, and very reasonable pricing at Kevin's Auto Repair.
They are busy, and you need to make a reservation for service, but I have had multiple different types of work done here and I have been thrilled with every experience. They installed a hitch for me, replaced the standard brakes on our Odyssey with an upgrade I ordered online, and they have serviced the car and fixed the A/C ... all at reasonable prices (less than I expect, every time). Wonderful!!

I don't trust easily, but I do use my intuition to get a feel for people. I felt I could trust the guy with my car.
After the repair was done, they showed me the part. They use American or European parts. They don't skimp by buying made in China.

So totally impressed with this place. It almost feels like one of those amazing auto repair places you used to see in the movies where you're like, "those were those good old days, wish they still had them like that".
WELL THEY DO!
I had a rear break light out and since I just moved back to the area didn't really know where to go to get it replaced. I called Subaru and they gave me some weird run around which required several calls and a "quote" that they promised to get me which never came. I called back and got shuffled around.

I bought a used BMW sedan a couple years back which the previous owner had been taking to Kevin's for years. I didn't know about Kevin's before this but decided to give them a try since the previous owner had nothing but nice things to say. I've now completed several routine services and two repairs with them and have been very happy with the results.

I brought my car here twice and while the prices are high, I appreciated the honesty of the people helping me. My repairs have always been done thoroughly and quickly. I took off one star because I didn't feel they went above and beyond in terms of looking out for my car. After I had one problem fixed, I had to bring it in again just a week later for an unrelated problem that they should have been able to identify and fix in one visit.

I take all three of my cars to Kevin's. My most recent trip was in my old off-roading minivan for damage sustained while driving on rough forest roads and jeep trails in Lassen National Forest.
Here are the issues I came in with:
1) Power steering leak
2) Dented wheel
3) Smashed up tow eye (folded in half)
4) Oil change
5) Tire rotation
Kevin fixed it all for 80 BUCKS!
Some context: this is a 20 year old, beat to hell Toyota Sienna. Mechanically, it's reliable, but everything else about it is super rough. It's my camping/hunting vehicle and I abuse the hell out of it. Kevin knows

Please do yourself a favor and get a second quote for any repair that you may be offered here. I am certain that you can get it done with the same quality but a fraction of the price nearby in Mountain View.

I've been taking my car to Kevin's Auto Repair for the past four years, ever since I moved to the South Bay/Peninsula area.
