BasketWorks/79Gifts is a woman owned gift basket company, located in the north suburbs of Chicago (specifically Northbrook, IL) since 1997. We are proud to offer a variety of gifts and gift baskets appropriate for all occasions. Each of our packages is built to order, allowing for customization at no additional cost to our clients.
Our staff attends half a dozen or more gift and gourmet shows each year to search out new products, take continuing education classes and identify trends. We are not part of a franchise, but we do work closely with other independent gift basket companies from across the country. Lise opened BasketWorks after catching the entreprenuerial bug and leaving Human Resources in 1997.

Services
Fall is a favorite season around here - the change of the seasons, falling leaves, crisp fresh air - reasons we love the Midwest in the fall! And fun holidays - if you want a gift to really stand out, send a Halloween or Thanksgiving package! Lise created a beautiful coloring wellness basket for my aunt Cookie who lives in California.

I had specific questions to ask regarding a gift selection and it was easier to call instead of using internet. Lise, the owner, answered the phone, and handled every question. I was impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and graciousness.

I can not begin to tell you how wonderful it was to work with Lise to get the most perfect impromptu anniversary gift for our son and his wife. They were absolutely delighted with the wine and goodies and the presentation was beautiful. I wish I could show a picture but Im not that talented

We received a basket from BasketWorks in August 2020 and we were so impressed with the assortment and quality of the basket that we ordered 6 to be sent out as Christmas gifts. Great selection. They also keep you informed of the shipping and arrival dates. Very responsive to any questions you might have.

Exceptional experience! I ordered a custom basket for the first time and the experience could not have been better! Lise was really friendly and made the process fast and easy. Amazing personalized baskets! When I needed a basket for my parents' anniversary, I called Basketworks and they produced a personalized basket based on the fact that my parents love to play cards and eat cheese and crackers and other snacks while doing so. The "basket" wasn't a basket at all, but rather a ceramic chip and dip platter in the shapes of the 4 suits in a deck of cards! So unique and cool! The food item and decks of cards that filled the baskets were equally appreciated. It was an amazing basket that my parents really enjoyed, and the serving tray will get
