MCS is owned by Jim Harnois. After working over 15 years in the construction and disaster restoration industries for others, Jim decided to go into business with all of his knowledge and values to continue helping the community. Jim started this company as a family business after growing up in a family business of carpet and janitorial cleaning.
He knows how important it is to show his children about hard work and responsibility. His wife and oldest son assist Jim and the other staff with many projects. MCS wants each customer to have a positive experience whether it is with a project that you want to do, or with projects that you have to do.

Jim and Hannah were amazing! We had 2 lights placed in very weird places so we couldn’t really use them. We also had a window that wouldn’t open. Jim got the lights perfectly repositioned so that they can actually light the rooms they are in and replaced the outdated fixtures with more contemporary pieces. The rooms are so much more cozy. And our window now actually opens after 2 years being sealed shut. I’m so happy with the work they did. Mohawk is truly the definition of a contractor, I told Jim what I wanted and he got it done either personally or subcontracted out. I loved not having

Jim and his colleagues did a wonderful job on the exterior work needed to be done on our home. The communication was great, service excellent and extremely professional. Once the project started I noticed there were other areas of concern that we didn't pick up on the first walk through. Jim was able to add these services very quickly. The bid process was excellent and outlined each phase of the project. I would highly recommend for your home repair or improvement projects!!

Jim (and Hannah!) did a beautiful job on restoring our backyard wood fence and building two new sections with repurposed wood. We recently purchased a 100 year old Victorian, and while the home is in wonderful shape, fixtures like out backyard fence require some loving care. The fence was in general disrepair: inadequate horizontal support beams, sagging/leaning posts, gaps in some areas, and portions of the fence held up by garden wire. It was very important to us we maintain the aged look and feel of the fence and not tear it down to just rebuild it with new wood. Jim came out and assessed what

During our recent power outage (7 days) I became despite for heat. Not having anyone to help me, I called Jim Harnois and asked if he could find me a ganerator. Jim called around town to find one, left his job to purchase it before they sold out, bought some gas, and installed it at my home and taught me how to use it.
I will always be great full for his help and I'm looking forward to working with him on future projects.
