At MedGlobal, every service we provide and every principle we uphold is designed to put patients first. Since our founding in 2003 we have made compassionate, expert care available 24/7. We take an individualized approach, collaborating with physicians to craft care plans within Medicare guidelines.
We consider it a privilege to work with patients and their families. We accept referrals from the patients themselves, their family members, physicians, hospital staff members and nursing homes. After the initial referral, a physician must sign an order stating that home health is appropriate for the patient.
Home health care is a range of services that provide patients with the assistance they need in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. It includes Skilled Visiting Nursing, Physical Therapy, Home Health Aides, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Medical Social Work. These services can be short-term, long-term or on-going, and many used to be available only in hospitals, including dialysis and wound care.
