Welcome to my practice; I've been a therapist in private practice in the South Bay for over a decade. Having found me, you are most likely looking to make some positive changes in your life or you're trying to help a loved one. Beginning therapy, or finding a new therapist, can feel like a difficult, scary, and daunting task.
The good news is that the most important and effective quality you need in your therapist is simply that you like and feel comfortable with them. Trust your gut. The relationship you form with your therapist is what paves the way to growth. Maybe you feel like you're in a rut or you're on an internal journey to better understand yourself.

Services
I attended Mount Holyoke and Dartmouth Colleges for my undergraduate degree and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work (MSW). I earned my doctorate in psychoanalysis Psy. D. from the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. I have been running a private practice working with adolescents and adults for more than a decade.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, although some clients prefer to meet for longer periods of time, which can easily be arranged. The frequency of therapy varies depending on an individual's needs, but I suggest no less than once a week. This may seem like a lot. Psychotherapy, just like physical therapy and most other therapies, is an investment in yourself.
