Growing up I always loved taking photos. I loved picking up my disposable camera prints at the drugstore and seeing the results. I started taking photography more seriously when I was a kid in middle school. My junior high had a darkroom where I developed blurry black and white photos of my chocolate lab.
I photograph elopements and small weddings throughout Portland, Oregon, and the Pacific Northwest. I document your day as it unfolds with a photojournalistic approach and I create photos that are bright, full of light, and vivid colors. Working with you every step of the way to create a beautiful wedding day means so much to me.
I offer maternity, newborn, and family portraits sessions throughout the Portland, Oregon metro. Being able to document families as they change and grow is one of my favorite elements of being a photographer. Having family photos is an important keepsake and I'm invested in making the process as smooth as possible.
I provide natural light portrait and headshot photography that highlights the natural beauty of Portland and the Pacific Northwest. I work closely with small business owners, doctors and medical providers, authors, therapists, and corporate office teams to create headshots and portraits that are natural, candid, and full of color.

We loved Chris! He took our wedding photos. They were authentic, beautiful, and just well done! Chris gave us a nice combination of portraits and candids. He is kind, easy to work with, and paid attention to the details. For example, he cut off a tag that was hanging on some string lights in a background. He managed to be in about 20 places at once in our wedding, and captured every magical part of our day. He nailed it and hope we will need him in the near future to capture more joyful moments in our lives.

Booking Chris for our semi-last minute wedding was the best decision that we made. We didn't care for all the frills of a typical wedding, but having these few special moments documented was definitely important. Chris photographed our group of friends and their families to celebrate a graduation. Chris was super flexible given the fact that our group had 3 babies under a year old. He did a great job coordinating their schedules and finding locations at Mt. Tabor that were baby/sun friendly. He also turned around our photos super quickly. We're so happy we went with Chris, the experience was everything we'd wished for!

Chris was our photographer for our engagement (he captured the actual event!) and our "micro" wedding, and we absolutely loved working with him! He has an incredible eye for composition and is a magician with natural lighting. Due to the pandemic, we had to change our wedding plans multiple times and even had to change the time or our ceremony the morning of. Throughout all of that, Chris was so supportive and flexible, and he went above and beyond to help make our day a dream come true. My fiancé and I had our engagement photos taken by Chris and we couldn't be more pleased! The photos themselves turned out beautifully, capturing our personalities and the beautiful scenery and lighting that was on the beach. Chris knew about a part of Cannon beach area that I didn't even know about and it was perfect for taking the photos, not a lot of people and opportunity for multiple location looks. Chris was so great! He was super flexible with us and whether our wedding would happen or not with covid and forest fires. He showed up to the venue early, OFFERED TO GET ME COFFEE (bless his heart), and even stayed late to grab some last minute photos with guests. The pictures turned out great as well! I absolutely recommend Chris for your special occasion. We contacted him last minute for a family photoshoot when my parents flew into town and then had to reschedule the night before when our toddler came down with a cold. He was flexible, responsive, and just nice all around.
The day of our rescheduled shoot Chris arrived early, scoped out a good spot and spent time playing around with our toddler so he warmed up to the camera. He was so patient and attentive and really made the experience great for all of us.
