Facilitate the execution of a contract document between Buyer and Seller and/or their agents after the offer is accepted. Covers costs for credit checks, background checks, employment verification, previous rental verification, and processing for up to 2 applicants/cosigners. There is a $50 charge for each applicant/cosigner after the first two.

I was looking for apartments recently and placed some applications to different apartment companies. Of course, all of these companies require that a non-refundable application fee be issued with the application. One company in particular though required that I had to not only turn in a $40 application fee with the application, but also simultaneously pay the security deposit of $150 on the apartment without even signing a lease or agreeing to live there. This company that required what they call the "deposit" is named Kahn Properties and after I searched around and found another apartment
