At Whitney Collins Photography, we believe your senior portraits should tell YOUR story in the most extraordinary way. The most important aspect of dance photography is choosing a photographer that knows proper dance technique. Whitney began dancing when she was three, and danced competitively through college. Though some of the terminology may be hard to recall, she is confident in how technique and skills should look.
This accreditation program, explicitly for portrait photographers of all genres, is a recognition of 'high professional standard', not something that awards merit only. Portrait Masters accredited photographers can ensure clients they are working with the true professionals of the industry.
Photographers submit images twice a year and are judged based on the following categories: expression and connection, styling, composition, posing, lighting, overall technique and presentation, post-production, focus and story-telling.The judges are some of the leading experts in the industry. Whitney began submitting images for accreditation in August of 2018 and has earned 57 bronze badges and one silver.

We had the best experience today when Whitney photographed my daughter with a Degas inspired photo shoot. Everything was perfection from the hair and makeup to the wardrobe and endless ideas for different shots- including becoming an unofficial piece of art at the Jepson Center for the Arts. I can hardly wait to see the final products after I was sent a sneak peek. I look forward to working with her again soon!

Whitney is an absolute DREAM!!! Ever since I got my senior pictures from her my family hasn’t even looked at another photographer. She makes you feel so comfortable behind the camera. She makes it so fun and makes you feel so confident and stunning. A truly unforgettable experience. Every printed photo, photo book, and wall canvas that we have gotten is timeless. Whitney’s work is fabulous and I definitely recommend her. Being photographed can be a bit scary, but she made me comfortable immediately, with her, with the process, and with myself.
I had so much fun and was thrilled with the result! When I showed off her work, several of my friends all decided to book their own appointments! That speaks volumes!

Whitney Collins Photography was a 5 star experience from start to finish! Whitney and her stylist, Shae, went out of their way to make my son and daughter feel beautiful and special. Each of their shoots were customized to make their visions of what they each wanted come to life. Shae made a headpiece especially for my daughter to fit a particular theme she wanted. Shae stayed with them the entire shoot to make any hair, makeup or wardrobe adjustments that were needed. They spent time.helping us choose wardrobe. We never felt rushed during the shoot. I can not rave enough about my experience with Whitney Collins Photography. From start to finish, they truly took care of me and made me feel like a queen. My hair and makeup was flawless, and throughout the shoot, they gave me such wonderful direction with posing and made me feel so comfortable. I was relaxed and truly enjoying myself! The turnaround time for my final images was incredibly quick and the quality of the photos blew me away! They exceeded my expectations and I will most certainly be coming back and sharing with all of my friends!

I had the pleasure of working with Whitney and Shea yesterday for professional headshots of myself and business partner. Her level of professionalism from the first consultation to complete finish was excellent. Whitney listened to our ideas and then used her expertise to guide us on styling, poses down to the tiniest details that many others overlook and gave us thoughts on how to best use our prints for our marketing efforts. Whitney and Shea were efficient and made the studio shoot light and fun. They work so well together and I felt so beautiful taking the photos because my makeup was on point
