Off The Trail Vacation Rentals & Campground is your "Ride In / Ride Out" lodging option for the Badlands Off Road Park because you do not load up until you leave. Regardless of where you stay (campground or lodging), you will not be disappointed! Your options range from primitive camping to a house that accommodates 22 people.
Off the Trail Vacation Rentals offers some of the best Vacation Rental Properties in the Midwest. We now have 22 villas with layouts and designs to meet every lodging need. Our properties provide a variety of styles and sizes ranging from 600-2700 square foot, 1-5 bedroom houses, sleeping 2 - 22 people.
The daily rate for Premium, Full Hookup & W&E Sites includes 2 adults and 2 children (through age 12). Extra adults are $9/person per night. Ages 6-11 are $5/person per night. Children 5 and under are free. While most people staying at Off The Trail ride at the Badlands Off Road Park, there are may other places to visit when you stay at Off The Trail!.
Located at the front of The Village, this cozy villa sits on a meandering stream and is ideal for couples looking for a get-away adventure. Ride at The Badlands or enjoy the Hidden Gems of Nature in West Central Indiana. End your day on the back deck overlooking the stream. At checkin, a $500 pre-authorized hold will be placed on your credit card to be applied toward any damages incurred to the house during your stay.
The Country Cottage is located near the east edge of the Badlands Off Road Park, with it's own private entrance into the Park. This property will sleep up to 18. Take advantage of the two master bedrooms and the large deck. The upstairs has full kitchen, dining area and basic living room along with three king bedrooms.

Basic but clean, cabin motif. Open concept living space with one or more bedrooms. Great for a family or group of friends who want to spend their evenings together without the hassle of multiple hotel rooms. The smaller villas have kitchenettes while the larger ones have full kitchens.
Can be difficult to find in the dark, so pay careful attention to your GPS. 10am checkout arrives more quickly than you expect.
Conveniently close to the Badlands for off-road enthusiasts, but far enough away that the noise was unnoticeable for non-devotees.

We reserved a premium campsite for Labor Day weekend. When we arrived, our campsite had a tent, grill, and trash can still on it from the previous camper. The office told us we could go to another site, that was also considered "premium". The new site did not even have a fire ring. We asked for some sort of refund as we did not get what we paid for. I was told that management would be in touch with me to get that straightened out - it has been weeks and I am still waiting to hear from them. I emailed them about a week after our visit in regards to our stay, and nobody responded. Very poorly ran

Really need security at the shower house. Several kids coming inside shutting lights off, screaming and hollering. Then parents looking at you like you done something as you are walking out then not talking in english. This could have been really bad. Also kids too old running from the women's to the mens room unsupervised.
So many kids under 10 looking running the entire campsite unsupervised. But a 50+ year old man looking for firewood gets questioned by security.

My husband and I took our 2 year old here to ride the SUV trails in our 4Runner. The staff was all super friendly, and incredibly helpful. The campground was very clean, not overly loud during quiet time (your always gonna have the select few that can’t follow rules) but overall we had a FANTASTIC time and we can not WAIT to go back!!!

Exactly what was advertised. The drive-up access is great. Park your ATV at your doorstep and ride right back into the park whenever you're ready. The extra two hours of riding after close is a nice perk. The staff at BL and OTT is always friendly and welcoming.Make sure to bring food to make at the cabin and some cash for the power washer (no credit-cards taken at the machine).
Cabin 8 was perfect with all the modern appliances you need for a stay between trail rides. There's a porch with two chairs, a fire pit, and two couches to relax on. I would recommend it for a couple, two buddies where
