As a family-owned and operated business with more than a decade of experience, we see it as our duty and privilege to serve and nurture all those we help. We recognize that each individual is unique and has distinct needs. So at Abell Companions, our family works to match you and your loved ones with the appropriate caregiver-one who will relate to the person being cared for.

You want the best for your loved ones. When you can't be there 24/7, having someone you know and trust as your caregiver makes that possible. From reminding about medications and promoting health to running errands and offering true companionship, our caregivers are there for you. Our customized, compassionate care goes above and beyond what's expected.
Services
Abell Companions, which has been serving the North Texas region since 1998, has some very unique roots when it comes to home care. While busy working as a sign language interpreter, founder Janie Abell recognized that some of her elderly neighbors were being neglected and mistreated. So she did what she could to help, including recruiting a few people she knew who were honest and had really compassionate hearts to care for those in need.
Abell Companions' caregivers deliver high-quality customized care for individuals with all kinds of different needs. We take calls 24/7, 365 days of the year so that we can provide backup should a caregiver get sick, handle any concerns or answer any questions. When it comes to meeting specific needs, Abell Companions selects caregivers who best suit the individual.
When it comes to providing excellence in home care, Abell Companions pulls out all of the stops. Their caregivers are extraordinary people with big hearts who are dedicated to serving others and improving quality of life. Caregivers with Abell Companions may come from all different backgrounds, but they work for one common goal: providing healthy companionship to all they serve.

Our elders are precious to us, and should be cared for gracefully and with the respect and dignity they deserve. The first caregiver Abell referred was great, second one not so great . When I called Abell to get replacement for second caregiver I did not get a return call. Overall not a good experience, but better than a nursing facility. We kept our mother in her home and cared for her ourselves until she passed.
