Situated in the Mount Greenwood area on Chicago's far south side, La Fiesta Mexican offers a pleasant dining experience and the standard Mexican fare. My most recent visit went as expected as there were no surprises, mistake or letdowns. The food was good not great. The menu was traditional not adventurous. The dining room is spacious and comfortable not trendy and cramped. Works for me I'll be back again.

Worst enchiladas I've ever had. The sauce was nothing removed from canned Hunt's tomato sauce. Nothing had much flavor. Even the cheese. I don't put salt on my food at home or at restaurants, but I couldn't help it. I wanted to taste something. Salsa worse than jewel brand.
And my booth seat broke while eating- collapsed inward underneath me. (I'm not very 'heavy'.)
