Opened in 1994, by an Argentine mother and daugter duo. Que Rico is a casual fine dining restaurant, offering eclectic Mexican cuisine and warm hospitality in a rustic old vallarta building. A high, open ceiling, exposed stucco and mexican tile floors display an adobe style ambiance, and gentle lighting contribute to an intimate and contemporary feel.
Great Mexican food starts with high quality ingredients and careful preparation. Our kitchen gets busy early every morning because we start from scratch every day making fresh salsa, boiling chilis for our homemade red, green, mole chile dishes, slow cooking our lean cuts of beef and pork. We receive our tortillas fresh daily.

We went out on a limb and tried a new (to us) place. We read the Google reviews and decided to try it and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The food is delicious!! We started with a couple of margaritas, fresh made chips and salsa, a couple of margaritas, the baked chicken empanadas for an appetizer, had a couple of margaritas, Mexican Meatloaf, brisket tacos, a couple of margaritas, churros and bananas in a rum reduction served with bananas over vanilla ice cream followed up with a couple of margaritas. Each dish was made with the best and freshest ingredients. The restaurant was immaculate

Truly a neighborhood gem! Que Rico is family owned and Patty treats all of her guests like family. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is on point. Perfect spot to bring friends, family or a date!
Food and drinks are both phenomenal. Highly recommend the brisket tacos. They’re juicy, flavorful, and topped with a delicious salsa. Also, the house margaritas are some of the best you’ll find in the city. Careful though - two of them are enough to get anybody loosened up.
Love this place!

The food was average and bland. I was less than impressed with the options on their “vegetarian menu”. Both of the dishes I ordered were not well seasoned and the side of beans and rice could have used some work. The prices aren’t bad and the location is easy to get to, but the food wasn’t special enough to warrant a re-visit. The service was also quite slow, for it being a fairly quite Monday evening. Wasn’t thrilled.
