Was unpleasantly surprised that the subs I bought were so plain. It was as if the slapped the meat and threw a couple of vegetable leaves and called it a sandwich. Even Subway is a little more generous with the way they prepare a sandwich. Paid over $50 for 3 sub sandwiches expecting more. Not worth the money. Needless to say, I won’t be shopping here anymore. Maybe my memory of NYC subs 50 yrs ago betrays me.

Their pastrami is tender, juicy, and not gristly or fatty. The Philly cheesesteak has good flavor and plenty of onion. Surprisingly, the pastrami had more cheese! Subs come in 4 sizes. His was the largest; mine was a little smaller size. Both of us could only eat half. My only complaint is pricing. We hadn't been there in a while and were a bit surprised. Maybe not so bad considering a sub is 2 meals.

This family run Italian market has been here for decades and is my go-to for great sandwiches. This time I had the small Spicy Italian cold cut sandwich, and it was almost more than I could eat. They have removed the dining tables and enlarged their Italian specialty grocery items during the last year, which will probably end up being good for them and their customers.

Most are placing phone orders so be sure if you go in person there might be a longer wait. All being well worth it for me. Foggia operates like a deli should. Always clean, employees ready and attentive, and food never disappoints. Deli meats and cheese always available. Way to go Foggia and Happy 20th.

My Ruben sandwich was terrific! I shared mine with my daughter. She gave me 1/2 of her pastrami and it was BETTER! Stuffed banana peppers with cheese n prosciutto? Oh yeah! My daughter's girlfriend had the chicken alfredo, MMMM. The serving is big enough for Lupie to have it for 2 more days! Lol. I love this shop! I do wish their Cannoli had a bit more flavor in the filling. The staff is super nice!
